The time just seems to be flying now! I dont know if i will be able to drive up so i may take the train. Either way should be there need to get some warm and clothes and maybe a tent haha. What can i bring? I am going to try to bring wood and what ever else.

The fort ord national monement isn't even a mile down the road. The other way there is a county park that has a race track, gun r ange and camping. Think it's called laguna seca. Gotta love cali!

Years ago, back when I owned a 427 Cobra, I would trailer it to Laguna Seca, for open track day once a year. I've driven on it twice, and marched around it several times in 1969!.......

FM and I are in ! Think I'll bring a big pot of baked beans and maybe corn on the cob if it's still in the store. Maybe some BBq sauce. Are these Items spoken for yet. That's a lot of corn and beans for forty peeps or so , so I don't thing doubling up would hurt ?

That sounds really good TWS, yeah beans & corn would be great. Just bring what you can, we'll make it work.......I'm bringing a pig, rolls/bread, & plates & forks.......see you there......

Do you think they have a pork rhine there, the one with hair in it. lol We could make some homemade fried pork rhines.

The roast pig will have plenty of krispy pig skin, when it's done........

So JJ how much firewood do you think it's going to take to roast this HOG? And do we want to use fruit wood or oak ? I can haul a cord in my pickup. Rather have extra wood than to have raw pork. What do you guys think?

I just voted "one person" as I will be attending the bbq. I am really looking forward to meeting you all and having a blast!!!

Hey Nuggs, bring as much firewood as you can. We'll use charcoal & coals from the campfire to roast the pig. I have about 1/2 cord of oak that I will bring. Everyone that has room in their car, should bring firewood.........see you there.......
