2013 Washington State Summer Outdoor - WA Skunk

What's up guys! I'm going to do my best to document my outdoor grow this summer. I was luck enough to get a 15 pack of Fabman Farms WA Skunk, so I'm really excited to see what they do for me outdoor this summer. I stumbled on a good plot of land to grow on with. Had great sun all day long. We are still working on some of the logistics that I'd like to get some opinions from the community.

Does anyone have any suggestions on some good soil for outdoor? I'd like to get a hot soil so that I can just feed with some water and maybe some molasses so I don't have to mix nutrients every time I feed (just makes more sense for outdoor). I was thinking about running BigBills sooper simple soil, but after running the numbers that is just too expensive for all the root space we are planning on having. Hazel told me about Northern Lights Gardening up in Mt Vernon, apparently they make a really good soil.

We also want to put them in pots, so that we can move them around if need be. We were thinking maybe 15 gallon geopots? Do you guys/gals think that sounds good for outdoor this summer?

Heres some pictures of the little babies so far!!

I had a 15/15 100% germination rate! All of these sprouted in this medium just 3 days after dropping ungerminated seeds in the little holes! Sooper easy!!

Here is a description of Washington Skunk:

Fab Mans Farm
washington skunks

Making their way down from northern Canada several years ago, the Washington Skunks have been bred to be
environmentally acclimated to thrive in the pacific northwest and along the 47th parallel. Now after over over a decade of work these girls are perfect for early finishing needs of the northwest ganja farmers.

Washington

Strain Description:
In 2007, Fabmans Farm, collected 3 northern Canada strains to start work on our Washington landrace/ibl project. By combining an auto flower and a photosensitive both from the early 70’s, as well as an F17 cross of the two, FmF used the open gene pool to start our selection from. Though selection of males and females based on their photoperiods we have eliminated all but 10% of the auto and late flower phenol types. We are narrowing down flower times to fit the quick summers of the Pacific Northwest. Thus by open pollination, germination and through meticulous selection over the past five season we have created the Fabmans Farm Washington ibl in acclimated landrace form.
Over the next few seasons FmF plans to continue narrowing down the photoperiod of the Skunks to fit in 2 outdoor harvests a year and are also working on a full auto Washington line.
