Sounds like bro science on the sativas, possibly based on typical cannabinoid profiles between sats and indica's but that's also bro science imo. Mixed profiles for meds is the best option right now imo, but nothing to do with high THC or high CBD, the wider the cannabinoid profile the better for medicinal until we know more about which cannabinoids or mix of them works for specific ailments.
That is one of the main problems prohibition has created, there is so much bullshit that has no basis in actual science. I am hoping with prohibition 2.0 we get a lot more research into the plant itself, the growing of the plant, and extraction techniques so that all of the bullshit broscience goes the way of the dodo.

Hey guys!
Any idea on how to retrieve some of the sticky oil that seems to be stuck to the ceramic slow cooker bowl?.
I would try heating of the ceramic bowl up with the slow cooker again however it only has a high and low setting and I don't want to burn it and I don't think the low is going to be hot enough plus that would take along time to just heat the bowl up again.

On a side note I believe I should've got a rice cooker instead. The slow cooker is safe but feels way to slow lol.

Use some ISO and wash it off the sides...Swish it around or use your finger. ....pour into a little small container of your choice....then let it evaporate away

Ok so you talking like a cap full of less I guess depending on size of bowl which is a 6qt bowl.
I appreciate the quick response as I did all that and I see most of it stuck to bowl.

ISO will dissolve it pretty good.....just rub it around with a nice clean finger. It should mix and become one with the ISO..after evaporation occurs it smoke-able and usable. Put it in the window sill for a few days. Or a vac chamber if you have one.

Thanks. I did it and just waiting for it to evaporate.
I tried 30 grams of cuttings as a tester.
I have a little in bottle that I claimed right away but most was stuck to bowl. I know I'm not expecting much but the amount that looked stuck looked significant enough to figure out a way to retrieve it like the extra ISO/evap method.
I thought maybe I burned it into bowl and maybe I did cuz I did have the cooker set to high trying to speed up the process.

I would only use it on low. I botched my first cannabutter trying to speed it up by cooking on high. YMMV
I went to sleep last night wanting to throw the cooker as far as I could.
It's the the first time I ever used one so it was driving me nuts as I watched a few videos of a low constant boil.
This machine won't boil even on high.
I will try another batch today on low heat. If I start it this morning on low thorn I'm thinking it'll be done on Tuesday lol

Maybe .... you are trying to make the oil in the slow cooker? I only use it to make cannabutter, usually with 40 grams and a pound of butter, lid on. If I was going for oil I would have used a rice cooker. My wife did not care for that idea either so I bought a Source Turbo. I have it now but need to get some solvent still, so I have not actually tried it yet.

So off to the store again to get the rice cooker and hopefully I'll be able to clean the slow cooker and throw so chilli in it .

Looks like the one I passed on cuz it was more expensive but did the multi functions for different things.
I'll probably be grabbing something of that sort today.
At minimum it looks like a high end slow cooker with possibly better temp control, that's why I was thinking it might be better than typical slow cookers. I have a slow cooker but it's too low on low, and too high on high (boils) and would probably burn shit being processed. I don't mind spending the bucks on something that's more reliable for temp control and lasts a while. It's a Canadian company too so should be available at Can Tire or the like.

That's what it is when it comes to price. 140 vs the 59.99 I spent lol. I think I was in the Walmart isle for 45 mins trying to make a decision and the stupid sales price kept calling my name and the angel on shoulder said you'll get what u pay for. However it was my fault for getting the wrong machine to to the job I wanted.
YouTube is covered in how to vids on both butter and oil and my stoner ass got mixed up while in the isle. But didn't realize till after all was said and done. The little I did retrieve easily looked great and was pretty good. But not near the amount expected.

A cheap rice cooker is like $20-$30 is all u need.
Push down on the lid when you want heat near the end when the contents weight barely nothing. Once it is thickening but still viscous, pour it into a small non stick container and sit it on the warming zone on the stove top.

If you want cherry coloured oil, set a pyrex dish with iso/oil outside on a breezy sunny day. The sun will change the colour and the breeze will slowly evaporate the alcohol.
