I’ve be leaving that extra u talk about in the rice cooker bowl. Then before I do another batch I wash the bowl with iso to get rid of all that hard left overs.:wall:.
Didn’t even think about scraping and saving. I guess that’s what I get for have way to much product. Otherwise I probably would have been more careful to collect as much as possible.
Just add some fresh alcohol and pour it off into a container. From there you can pour small amounts to spread out on a silicone mat, then dry and scrape. I waste nothing this way.

If anyone needs the best butane for best price I can share my hookup. free shipping and it works out to $4 for a 420ml can of Whip it butane, which was considered best on market for quality, purity, and yield.

Perhaps I am just not understanding you. I use ISO to make oil, shatter or wax. It had a slightly nicer taste when I used 94% grain alcohol, but that is so expensive, and I have to go to Quebec to buy it.
To get it in Ontario you just need to contact [email protected] as a medical patient and say you require it for making tinctures for your medical needs, they will give you a letter of authorization to obtain it that is good for purchasing it locally over a 1 year period, it is stupid expensive though.

I know, I quit trying before I started. Ridiculous. ISO is cheap, and good enough for me.

Okay so the trade Happened although I had to give up a Half Pound instead of QP lol.
So I guess it cost me 75 bucks. Maybe not even.
@The Hippy I agree it’s on the lower end of the press list.
So now I need to know what to do with the extract?
Do I need a water bong now lol. I’m so out to lunch if I can’t roll my weed.
Not to much practice with any bings or pipe.

P.S That is about a gram and half on the parchment paper! Is that a good yield ?
Super happy with it already.
No more ISO for a while.

That looks very nice...enjoy.
Yes it DOES NOT roll well. Needs to be melted in an oil rig or e- pen.
Here's how to do it with weed.
You can melt a blob onto a bong bowl or pipe. Pick some up off the paper with a dab tool or stainless stick/piece. Melt with a lighter until it drops off onto the weed. Light and enjoy. Not the best way but will do if you have no rig. Old fashioned hot knives works to and is dirt cheap and easy...watch your lip.
Best way is off a dedicated oil rig ( many types to choose from )...the flavor will blow you away if done right.

Enjoy your new premium rosin....It's King of the hill to many. NO slovents atall...hard to beat that. Save your squished material as some folks reuse it in tinctures and butter. Personally I'm not into eating after melting it off the material. soaking it in ISO or grain after is better imo. You can reclaim the small amount left during the melting in your press.

So this years outdoor season went well enough to justify building a rosin press.

I've ordered everything but the plates. Will order those when I get my cartridge heaters as I most likely have the metal shop drill those holes. I can drill the rest.
I'm using this guide for my build
Out of curiosity how much ISO would you need to process a pound into oil?
cheers
