I started with 15 plants and im down to 12, 1.3 gallon pots. Pretty much all 60% sativa. Its all mixed there are 4 liberty city haze in there.
"2000" watt LED (380 watt power consumption) with some supplemental "125" watt (105 PC) CFLs + cO2
Can i expect any primo bud with these lights or am i wasting time? Would i be better with a small HPS and no Co2? I am going to flip in the AM for a spring snack.

WHen you say Co2, do you have a tank or a mushroom bag? Co2 won't help you here, the bottleneck will be the light. Idk how big your space is, but a 600 watt hps would flower those plants nicely at a low initial investment. You're fine to flower with what you have though, it'll be a good learning experience and you'll end up with plenty of smoke.

I mean a tank f co2 and co2 controller. I have 1000 watt HPS with a dimmable balest but never flowerd with LED so i wanted to give it a try since i could run c02 in a closed tent.
I just dont want the learning experience to be " i shouldn't have done that". I really want A+ bud i dont care some much about the yield.

"BESTVA DC Series 2000W LED Grow Light Full Spectrum Grow Lamp"
Im sure you didnt want to click it, but i did link the light above. In reality its only a 380 watt light

So am i sacrificing yield or quality or both with this light compared to HPS?

What is your canopy size?
CO2 does you no good if you are exhausting it out of the grow area continually.
CO2 does you no good if you don't have enough light.

Toss those lights and get mars hydro lights. Cheap but way better than what u have now. Or just go hps. You’ll be wasting your time with those lights.

Cannopy size is not much bigger than 2'x3'. The light was free and it works great for vegging but i totally hear you all. I'll switch to my HPS for flower and save the Co2 for my keggorater since the tent will be to hot to keep closed.

You can expect a good veg...an so/so buds with that light....n that's IF you keep light close and in a small space....Ive flowered with blurples before and with mine if I keep them in a small space like a space abt as big as the light itself then I'll get ok buds...any time I've tried to use em in an open space I got shit for buds...

Until I got a better led I used my purple for veg which it does great for n then moved plants under HPS for flower

Fuck my HPS has goddam 8 inch ducting. I gotta get flanges or new flex ducting. I also realized if i cut a second hole in my tent I can pull in cold air and still run C02.
How often do you all run your carbon scrubber? all day/all night. Once an hour for 15 mins?

If you are needing to bring cold air in and exhaust for temps you are shooting your co2 out of the tent. The other alternative is to seal the room the tent is in and run co2 in the room upping the whole room ppm. If you are worried about smell the carbon scrubber should run 24/7. If just temps and you are providing co2 then exhaust to cool and use a fuzzy logic co2 controller to turn off co2 when fan on.

So i got my 400 watt HPS in my tent with the exhaust and intake hooked up outside. I can run my co2 in the closed tent and it does not get above 79F! much cooler than the LED with no way to enclose the system.
this is day 4 of 12/12-

Hey all, this HPS reflector is taking up more vertical space than anticipated. In this lil cubby It was gonna be a challenge with the low profile LED. Now battling the sativa flower stretch has me concerned. I only have about another 8inches of headspace, if that . I can go plenty wide but the colas wont be directly in the lights foot print. I plan on continuing to LST for 14-21 of flower.
I was reading my temps need to be in the high 80s- low 90's if i am running co2. That way the plants can respirate more. My temp doesn't get higher than 78. Am i wasting c02?

So, all my colas are equal height to the light. Even the lower ones from the first set of nodes.
Should I still trim as much as half of them to get denser buds?
Main goal being the best possible quality bud over yield.

That light is WAY to close. HPS is like a miniature sun, i keep mine all the way at the top of an 84'' tent.

Too close? I was all ways learned you want it as close as possible while still being in the footprint of the light. Why would far away be better ?
My tent is not 5'x5' so it's not possible to fill that much space out. The carbon scrubber question was answered already.
Seems like your trying to act like a big shot, but have not been able to say anything useful.
How about an answer to any of the question i asked that where not answered? .

Can you comfortably hold your hand where the plants are? If your skin is uncomfortable, your plants are uncomfortable. Youve never heard of light burn?

It's 78F @ the canopy . I can put my hand on that glass without fear of burning. I have fried buds with 1000 watt lights cause it was 98F on the glass. This is a 400 watt.
Sorry if i was a dick. i just smoked and i am not as mad. But seriously you didnt say anything that could help and all you did was criticize.
Im freaking out about not having enough headspace. I wish I could go higher than another 6 inches. Thats why im trying to keep them flat into flower as long as possble.
