let me see what u working with and those buds at the bottom didnt have the light that it has now when it first started
You ever consider trying an orange party bulb? I had a white widow mother plant literally explode in what seemed like a week when I used one. Its CFL and emits a similar light to HPS. I notice you have the same problem I had, taking forever for those buds to form and alot of stalk. You can find them at wal-mart for like 5$ and they are 13 watters. I think one for every 100 or watts or so of the 2700k CFLs. I Need to get my camera out and take some new supermacro pics of my white widow. Bud porn, anyone?

why is there a red bulb?

That red bulb is an orange party bulb I found at wal-mart. I analysed its spectrum with a spectroscope and found that it emits the entire red spectrum. I decided to put that one in to help out the 2700k's. I was hoping that it would shift the entire light spectrum inside the closet more towards the red. The first time I put it in, I had another bulb in there, a bright white. And the plants refused to start budding, took forever, until I added the Orange bulb. Then it seemed like buds popped out in five days. Unfortunately I have not seen the same results again. I am going to run with this setup once more though, I have yet another white widow clone I am prepping in the vegging box. Going to top it and let it grow some nice sturdy stems before I flower. If it does not respond the same way, there is only one thing that can explain the way my last grow behaved. The Miracle Grow extended release potting soil. As soon as flowering began, my plants began to get yellow leaves, and though buds grew quickly, they smelled and tasted horrible. Don't use extended release Miracle grow potting soil. Nasty.

Oh yeah. Those look like they could be lacking in Trichromes, however Satvia strains I have noticed don't have as many Trics, though they are very good at getting you high. They are getting close to being done. They will reach a point at which you don't really notice much more growth. Those new white hairs are pretty new growths, so when you see a lot fewer of them, time to cut.

I Like the really fat bud there. Looks great. If only I could smell it.. ;-)

Been flowering mine since the beginning of December.

looking good Skint :) bet you cant wait to give a taste once they are dry/cured. you should look into water curing, heard it only takes like 4-5 days. kills the flavor tho but makes the budz more potent and goves them a clean taste

Yeah, water curing does not sound very good if you want your typical product. I just sewed up a sock made out of extremely breathable material. I like to cut my buds off the stalk ahead of time and put them inside the sock and let them dry in there. I can turn them pretty easily too. And I am not talking about a sock you wear.. I am talking about a sock made out of some curtain with tiny hole all over in it so air can easily pass through it. Has worked well for both my vegging leaves and buds. Anyone notice that some strains give you a really nice buzz just from leaves? More importantly leaves that are dark green and not yellow at all, and come from plants that are in their vegging cycle. Leaves from budding plants don't do very much at all, however.

sugar leaves will get you baked as hell. all them trichomes on them full of THC
hell ya they will! the trichs actually fall off the bud onto the sugar leafs when the buds get "overcrowded".So when you manicure your buds and you have enough leaf tips(full of resin and trichs) you can either smoke them when they're dry enough or use them to make a concentrate of some sort.:leaf:

i was thinking instead of using alcohol ima use peroxide to extract the thc and feed it to my plants during flowering i feed em peroxide anyways for co2 so why not add some thc i mean it can only make it better

i dont think roots can absorb thc skin , lol that'd be pretty cool tho.i bet all the little micro-organisms get baked as hell too lol.The point is i dont think soluble THC would have a positive or negative effect, you could try,but your better off making yourself a nice oil and theirs a bunch of really cool threads on how to do itbongsmilie
