Hello all,

just want to get some feedback . my room is: 2.5wx4.5lx6.5h and I wanted to purchase the 6"x18" carbon filter with a 240cfm fan built in from foothills filters on ebay. I am running a 400w hps light, poly film on all the wall, i have a 120cfm vent fan bringing in fresh air. My main concern is humidity level, temp and odor.

Will this model be ok for the space to neutralize the smell keep temps between 75-80 and steady humidity levels for my operation?

thanks

I got a 400w HPS w/ an enclosed reflector, w/ a s&p 6" inline fan think its 293cfm or sumin like that and my temps only go up about 5-6 degrees when the lights on. Also have a caron filter @ the beggining of the line. And yes a cooltube will help tremendously.

A cooltube for a 400w light can just be an $8 candle chimney from the craft store and flex duct if you are handy, not something you need to put off or save up a lot of money for. Or a bake-a-round off ebay if you want something thicker.

does the carbon scrubber/fan in one pull from the end of the scrubber or does it pull air from the whole body of the scrubber.

the fan is built into the scrubber...

cause if i hook it up to the cooltube i dont want it to only pull in the hit air from the glass tube but from the grow room to kill the smell
