25 Days into flowering... How am I doin?

Well, I'm 25 days into flowering and I'm curious at how it looks. This is... and isn't my first grow. First grow gave me 2 out of three males (bad luck) and the one female was shocked beyond recuperation after I had to move it across the state. So, I have never actually gotten to this point before, so how does it look?

BTW, sorry for shitty close up pic, its a new camara and have yet to master it...:bigjoint:

what light are you using? seems a little behind for 25 days. i think that cola should be alot more full at that point. leaves look a little unhealthy. overwatering? underwatering? are you 25 days actually flowering or are you counting from the first day of 12/12?

Using 1 120 watt CFL (Daylight), 1 100 watt CFL (Soft white), and a number of regular fluorescents totaling about 120 watts (soft white). Also using white poster board as a reflector. And, in fact, I am counting from first day of 12/12, not first day of actual flowering. I really appreciate your input as this is my first serious attempt at growing.

also, I think I am overwatering and fertilizing, so I'm gonna back off on that and see what happens

i would use a 50% nutrient solution for two weeks then flush and use no nutrient at all in your water for the remainder of your flowering. what type of medium are you using?

I'm usin soil, mixed with about a half dry liter of worm castings. I believe it was Scotts, ph 6.5 with either pearlite or vermiculite. I threw away the bag so I can't remember

it does look a little unhealthy, how often do you water and how much nutes do you use, also what kind of nutes. but other than that i think ur lookin alright. good job

I generally water everyday, which I can see now is prolly too much. I use fox farm tiger bloom, but I have never given it full strength, which I guess I thought meant I could water, and fert it everyday. Apparently not a good plan. But I'll kick back fert and watering, and I think it should recover pretty well.

it definately should. don't water again until the soil 2-3" down feels completely dry. and you may want to flush it out just to get rid of any salt buildup on the roots from using fert so often.

Please dont listen to that advice. If you wanna use nutes, flush out your plant as soon as its time to water next, and then once the soil dries out again and its time to water, start out with 1/4 strength the nutrient solution that youve been using, and then work your way back up until you find out what the plant likes to be fed. Only feed your fert solution to the plant every other watering, and then 2 weeks before you plan to harvest, flush again, and THEN just feed it straight up water for the rest of her days until the chop.

hope that helped a little bit bro :D

hey Unforgiven1420, when is the exact start of flowering if its not the first day of 12/12?
alot of people think just switching the lights means flowering has started but alot of people start 12/12 before the plant is sexually mature. you cannot count the time it takes for the plant to reach maturity and then show sex. how often do you read a thread that says "i've been flowering for 2 weeks and my plant is still not showing sex"? they have been on a 12/12 lighting schedule for 2 weeks but they have not been flowering for 2 weeks. If that persons seeds said they took 8 weeks of flowering time and they count those 2 weeks they are going to harvest 2 weeks early. you have to look at trichs to know when to harvest. Flowering has started once the plant actually begins to flower.

Thanks alot dude. I was a bit suspicious of that advice too, so I just waited till the plant really needed to be watered, then I started the flushing process. I'll continue with your advice till harvest day. I really appreciate it kiss-ass

Okay heres the most recent picks of my daughter. Day 29. Bottom leaves are brown but everything else looks good. Flushed roots and she already looks better, IMO. I took her out to take a picture and for the first time the sweet stench of weed really hit my nostrils.

its entirely possible, but I really don't know if I want to risk repotting it this late in the flowering cycle. There are about 2 dry gallons of soil, and it is approaching two feet of growth, so I'm definitely getting close to being root bound if not already.
