250w dimmable lumatek ballast question

I have a lumatek digital ballast that has 4 settings. 150w, 175w, 250w, 250w super lumen. I was wondering if you needed the specific wattage bulb for each setting or if you could use the 250w bulb at 150w setting.

I have a slight heat concern and instead of buying a 150w bulb, which my local hydro shop doesn't carry, I wanted to see if I could do this without damaging the bulb or ballast.

With the low setting your bulb will be fine.
