250W HID Lamp Enough

I have got a small closet, 3' wide X 2' dep X 8' tall, of course I don't plan on growing anything that tall. How well will a 250W HID lamp work in that small of a space ?? It is a 250W cooltube with digital ballast. I am looking to grown maybe 4-6 plants in the room at one time. Will I need more lights ??

a 250 will work, you'ld probably get better results with a 400 (I wouldn't bother going any bigger than that). I'ld do 6 plants in a 2x3 pattern probably, you could pull anywhere from 2-5 oz (probably about 3) off the 250 per harvest depending on how dialed in the rest of the grow is.
