Hey dude, the ones you have posted a link to may work however they have low cfm or m3ph. They could work but i don't know for definite. I would advise you get one of these if you can afford it

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Line-Duct-Fan-Mounted-Extractor-Fan-Hydroponics-Grow-Room-4-5-6-8-10-12-/130620450641?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Hearing_Cooling_Air&var=&hash=item642096d5f8#ht_1795wt_1183

These move 3x the air than the ones you posted a link to, heat won't be an issue if set up correctly.

Regarding noise, there will be minimal noise from the fan itself, but there will be a noise of the air being forced through, I'm sure you know the noise i mean, its something you can't avoid.

Rather than point the fan at the hole its better to buy some ducting and attach it from the fan to the hole, this stops light leakage and gives better extraction.

Hope this helps man

Amaximus - well in that case i better get some photos up :D no1 was really bothering with this thread so didnt really have the motivation to take photos and upload them and that but as your asking i will update now :D

soo... Day 11 is here and heat issues are still going on (havnt bought anything as only get paid on the 18th) i have been leaving the cab door open so the temp sits at around 28c but if i close it and then open it in the morning its like 32-33c and my RRF last night seemed to not like it as the first 2 big leaves curled up a lil on the sides!!
i also watered them last night, put 4L of water in a bucket added 4ml of BioBloom and shared between the 3 girls :)

here are some pics!! and notice how different both afghans are??

The girls are coming along nicely! I agree with kush, your heat problems dont appear to be taking a toll.... yet. But you do have to get that under control at some point. From my own experience just keep an eye on how dry they are. When I was having heat issues my girls needed to be watered almost everyday as they were drying out super fast! but like I said, Your girls look good so far.

Also, if you enjoy taking phots and keeping a journal then you should update this thread whenever you feel like it. It's good to have for yourself, if no one else, for future reference. People are watching and subbing theyre just being quiet. They all speak up sooner or later. Look at my thread, aint shit going on there but me updating it whenever I change something. Eventually when the buds start frosting voer and I'm about to harvest i know they'll suddenly be a flood of activity. People love bud porn. lol!

You know Im subbed, So i look forward to your next update. Stay safe bro.

Thanks kush and amaximus nice to know some1 follows i need to check out ur grows and return the good comments.
I no it doesnt really look like there are heat problems but some leaves are curling up on the edges and also do you think a tent 1.6m tall will help with the heat problems or do u think i will still need an extractor fan? ive been keepin the door open otherwise i would of cooked them by now!!

Getting a larger tent will definitely help but how much and whether or not you'll need a larger fan will all depend on your temps after it is set up. I know it is a "cop out" answer but with heat issues, and all the variables that go with it, you really need to set it up and just see.

I know when I got my first small tent it was effectively twice as big in height as my grow box. The extra height gave me just enough extra space without modifying anything else to cool the tent down.

You will definitely need an extractor fan. It should be your top priority, there is no getting round having one. Unless you using CFLs but thats just pointless!

Cant you steal one from you bathroom? :P Im sure you can buy even a cheap one just to bring the temps down so they are bareable for your girls. But at the end of the day if somethings worth doing its worth doing well!

Keep us updated man!

ye i hear you mate, i am going to buy one when i get paid on the 18th could you by any chance help on making sure i get the right one cause i really need it to be silent!! i can have something louder than all those fans running cause i can barely sleep!!! i no some1 said 35 dba or what ever its called is liek having ur tele on 5 but thats pretty loud isnt it??

It's amazing what you can get away with depending on your grow and the equipment you use. I've been using a big 120mm PC fan (at first) and then this fan ever since for my extraction. Yourre running hps at higher temp so I guess neither of those are suitable to your needs. But anyway, Just figured I'd share with you whats been working for me. (PS, Both those fans are dead silent but neither of them are actual "extraction" fans)

To be totally honest the fan will always make noise, its impossible to get away from that. Most of the noise comes from the air getting sucked through the fan and not from the fan itself. And the higher the cfm of the fan the more noise you will get from the air being pulled through. Maybe buy a fan and a fan controller so you can turn down the speed at night time?

This is the downside to using HPS lights... you need extraction to cope with the high temps. But on the plus side your weed will be a lot higher quality (and thats what its all about, right?)

Post up some pics and let us see how they're coming along mate

Edit:

What time schedule are you using and what time do the lights go on and off? Could you not set it so the light and fan go off just before you go to bed? Thats how i have it

Using HPS over LED, CFL or whatever doesn't effect potency/quality of the actual bud being grown. Efficiency, denser buds, higher yield, Now that's a different story.

By quality i meant denser buds i should have been clearer. I can't stand small stringy 'empty' buds, trimming them is a bitch as well. Thanks for clearing that up tho man

yeah heat issues do suck, like me i dont use a vent fan, but i do have an air conditioner in my room so that really helps with smell and you can get the tem where ever you want it to im really grateful i have one

i have one of those fans amaximus but use it as circulation fan. You ALL make good points and tbh i think i will need an extractor fan one of those in-line ones, ive seen one with 37dba so i think im gonna gof or that 1 as its the lowest noise level one ive seen and still something like 187/m3.... Cheeeeeeeerss guys very helpful stuff!! will try update with pictures later today!!

No problem bro, I had a feeling that is what you meant anyway but I get a little defensive with LED's so I had to speak up. My buds are starting to fatten up nicely as we speak and should continue to do so when I add another 240w LED next week but I have no HPS experience to compare them to. I'll post them up and you guys can tell me what ya's think when the time comes. heh.

Yeah, Considering your messing with HPS is a small-ish space I'd say your gonna definitely need an extraction fan as well. I know a few of the guys use co2 as well to keep temps down. They buy those co2 bags and hang them in there. Theyre supposed to be good for like 6 months. But I've never used them so take that for what its worth.

i got a clip on 6" fan, from 'growth technology' :P its the queitest fan ive been able to find but the rubber bits on the clip on bit had some kind of fucked up glue used to hold them on and my grow room stank in about an hour n gave me a headache. proper fucked up, so i disassembled the clip-on bit and just made a prop to stick under the fan and it works great. not ideal, seeings as i actually had to pay money for something to give me a headache and have to take it apart, but its real hard to get a so called quiet fan round here
