I know i know cfl is the way to go for vegging but i got 80w of fluro tubes over my two clones righ tnow, and im gonna be adding a 250w hps soon to my 18/6 ... im thinkin ima keep it about 36'' away (right?) then i wanna flower them as soon as I get a good root system going under them... and I will of course be doing 12/12 250w hps for flower... I have a clone of Ice and another of Super Silver Haze... any ideas on my yield just basing it on the lumens I have over my plants? of course soil, nutes, temp, humidty, etc.... etc... all effect it, but Im curious as to some guesses just based on the lights im usin...thanks =) (ya by the time i get them rooted in my medium they are about 8 or so inches tall and guaranteed female.

lol its all preference man. some people use an hps all the way through religiously. it does have its benefits. very tight node growth.
people hate it when people ask how much they can get off of whatever, its about the experience and the learning. you grow it out, flower it and tell us how much you get. otherwise you can expect maybe an ounce off each plant if you have gone through the regular cycle from seed. thats a very nice amount of light for 2 plants, they should react better because of that. but for real, start a journal, document your experience, ask questions there and maybe you will help a few people out in the process. good luck!
