250w HPS vs 2x125w CFL for cabinet?

I'm on the fence on wetter to buy a 250w digital ballast kit or 2x125w CFL 2700k for my flowering cabinet.

Cabinet is 50x60x150 cm or 20x24x59 inches, with an extra 20cm/8" compartment on top.

Exhaust will be helped by several CPU fans.

I'm thinking of buying a reflector with exhaust like this one:

How much heat can I expect from HPS vs CFLs?

How close can I keep the plants to a 250w HPS?

Will there be enough room for my plants to grow?

HPS heat will be more than CFL heat

HPS will give you more lumens than CFL

You can keep CFL closer to plants than HPS (due to heat), either one, use the hand rule, burns your hand, it will burn your plants, again CFL can get closer than HPS

CFL (if you get 6500K) vs HPS for veg I think is debatable. HPS is more on the flowering color spectrum but it has been done with great results.

room to grow, should allow 1 square foot per plant, you can get about 3 plants in that space, height should be okay even with lamps unless you are growing trees

good luck!
