2nd Balcony Grow (GG#4)

I’m in for round 2. This time I have the experience and knowledge of last year’s grow so I know the suns path during spring and summer…I know what bugs to expect and how to fight them…I know what nutes work best and how to LST and supercrop to keep the girls well under the screen height.
Yesterday I put 4 GG#4 seeds in the paper towel method. They all hatched after 24 hours and now I have them in seedling soil, and in a homemade hothouse. I’ll grow 2 (other 2 are for backup) and have set up 2 white, 15 gallon grow bags with organic soil and trellises.

Last season I got snitched on by the neighbours and had to harvest 3 weeks early…this season may be the same but I’ve had ’words’ with the neighbours and am hoping they are cool. The joy of growing is worth the risk…and there’s a strong possibility that by 2024 it will be legal to grow a few plants in Melbourne Australia.

Renting and growing is a hard task.
7 weeks ago my landlord decided to sell the apartment I’m renting so I found a mate to take both girls, and in exchange I gave 1 to him.
Last week the apartment was taken off the market due to lack of interest. So I took 1 girl back home.
Compared to last year, these girls are tiny! they are only 4 foot from the ground and 2 foot wide. Can’t work out why, the difference is 12 gallon bags rather than 15, and I topped twice.
I wanted smaller girls but not this small, it’s embarrassing!
Last year they were 7 foot high and 6 foot wide (that’s the last 2 pics posted).
Anyway I’m looking at very solid, tight nugs and I recon I’ll get 6-7 ounces, so one can’t complain!
Happy to hear any thoughts on how long till ready.IMG_4697.jpeg

And here are last year’s girls. Same strain (GG #4) and purchased from the same place.

38 degrees Celsius today and the following 2 days…I thought it may slow (or damage) THC for 3 days and then take 3 days to recover. Fuck that, I harvested.
It doesn’t look like much in the pic but it’s more than I thought. Hopefully I can get 7-8 ounce's.
Temp and humidity looking good!
I’ll post weight in 7 day’s.
