2nd Grow, 1st Organic.. pics

Just added the 150 w HPS, need to upgrade asap (money pending). got a couple cfls to add spectrum. Soil is 20% perlite, 80% Fox Farm's Ocean Forrest. Fert is Seabird Guano but will change to a combo of mag-cal n other hydro ferts later. It's about 1 month in..precisely 35 days. :leaf: They are all in 3 gal bags/pots. cept for 3 i put in a trial transfer of soil to bubbleponic. The soil was harder to get out of the roots than i thought so there is still a bit on the roots in the hydroton medium. They aren't lookin too hot after 2 and 1/2 days. :blsmoke: :blsmoke: :blsmoke: :weed: The roots were circling around the small 1 gal pots n i ran out of soil/money for soil so i decided to try out my bubbleponic cloner setup as a deep water culture kinda deal. the bottom of the net pots are getting wet from the splashing but no roots have ventured out from the hydroton yet. we have root 66 and sugar daddy in our reservoir.

Also tips for whats goin on with my leaves would be helpful. yellowing and brown spots... ive looked under similar forums for solutions but it seems like it could be many different things. so not sure what to do about that.

Advice on pots vs grow bags would be appreciated as well.Grow Op 2 002.jpgGrow Op 2 048.jpgGrow Op 2 034.jpgGrow Op 2 068.jpgGrow Op 2 079.jpgGrow Op 2 069.jpgGrow Op 2 052.jpgGrow Op 2 036.jpgGrow Op 2 070.jpgGrow Op 2 078.jpgGrow Op 2 067.jpgGrow Op 2 071.jpgGrow Op 2 043.jpgGrow Op 2 005.jpgGrow Op 2 072.jpgGrow Op 2 077.jpgGrow Op 2 074.jpgGrow Op 2 060.jpgGrow Op 2 075.jpg

Not sure about the ones in hydroton but some plants in soil look like they could use some magnesium and some of the leaves just got wet and turned yellow and brown on others. Overall they look great! Keep us posted.

You have too many plants for the light you have. HUGE rookie mistake. You have enough lights (Watts) for about 6 plants...and that's pushing it. I have 400W and grow 2 plants. You'll end up with low yielding tall plants looking for light, even if you rotate them. Nutes should be given every week. Hydro, change the water out and clean the tote out.

They will be thinned out as soon as I figure out which are males and which are females. I change the hydro water weekly and wash it out when I do. Do you see how low they are? Once the males are taken out there will be about half left and there ya go. bout 6 plants. Appreciate the info but I'm not that much of a noob, I know the basics.

You know it. Lookin pretty good according to previous attempts. day 26 into flowering and I've got about 7 females. The males were made into some tasty butter. Let me know if I am behind the curve at all in budding size. The seeds were random headie bag seeds.

aaannnddd how much should i water a 18 gal tote? hahaha. extra soil so i put one female into the tote i had for aeroponics. I think its pretty funny.
