Currently on my 2nd grow first one went great. I currently have a couple skunk #1 in a tent with an ak 47 auto and I put 10 og/orange crush outside.

They were good until today the sun is really drying out the leaves even in the shade they’re just not having it.
Does anyone have any experience growing in the desert?

I think I’m just gonna pull them in for 2 more weeks and just do a sog so I can flower with the lights on only at night during the heat of the summer since it directly affects the room I’m growing in.
I’ll throw some pics up when the lights come on.

I'm in a real similar boat.
I left my seedlings outside last week for just a bit and came back to dried curled up leaves on the first set. I didn't have a tent then, do now.
It's also in my bedroom and adds heat, but it's better than that alternative.
Our sun is killing right now.
I would just bring them inside.
I also have been told that I'm over-watering, and that may be true...
But, in my experience here in AZ, its better to have some moisture in other plants, and since mine dried up and haven't really taken off, I think I'm going to keep them somewhat wet.
But I'm a rookie and it's my first time so dont take that as good advice. It's just what I'm gonna do.

Watering every other day is working well for me but I have a raised bed and great drainage so I really soak them every other day. They were stunted by going into re-veg from being out out since May but they are still looking alright! They are also under a shade cloth which if you don't have I highly recommend!!

I spent the money on the tent, lights, nutes, etc...so I'm gonna use them.
Your setup looks nice too.
I've just killed nearly everything I've ever planted outdoors so I'm hoping I'll have better luck inside.
Good luck with yours! Looks like you're off to a good start.

oh I forgot to mention I still got them in solo cups so I have to water daily either way but I think I’m just gonna pull them inside the issue is they’re from hermie plants so theyll be female but most likely hermie too and I have 4 skunk #1s that won’t hermie and likely be pollinated by the rest so idk if it’s worth it thats why I was growing them out there.

Next days are going to be rough out here.
That’s not so bad I mean look we get a 1% chance of rain on Friday. Lol

No, I know bro I work at a zoo and the heat is getting uncomfortable out there. I’m hoping temps go down a bit next month so I can throw them back outside to finish vegging but if it’s just as hot next month I’m Just gonna flip them all to flower in July. I’ll just throw some blueberry seeds down to harvest outside in the fall. I don’t expect this one to be the best so I’m just doing This summer grow cause dispensaries are expensive as shit even for med patients.

I usually wait until late summer early fall to plant outdoors too but figured I'd try earlier this year. Mines took a hit. Apparently these strains aren't heat resistant. They were just leftover clones from my indoors so no biggie. Im a week or so from harvesting indoors so I'm ok there. But yeah the top shelf at the dispensaries is ridiculously expensive even more so for rec........... Stay hydrated bro working out in that heat is no joke.
