2nd Grow First Journal

seeds: 3 - really good bag seeds ive been saving
soil: fox farm ocean forest organic
veg lights: 5 - tube 75 watt cfls
3 - 42 watt 2700k cfls
flower lights: 400 watt hps
2 - 55 watt 2700 cfls

im going to attempt to keep up on a journal to keep track of what im doing

so these guys popped up yesterday, let the waiting game begin... i think i need to invest in a small fan for my veg area




i will take some more pics of my set up and everything tomorrow, any input is welcomed

alright 3 days later and they are just doing their thing, I took a quick shot of the lights too.

just got back from a weekend up north and came home to everything looking good, the second set of leaves are in now..



anddddd im thinking tomorrow i will transplant them into some bigger pots to give those roots some growing rooooom

25 days since they popped up, used to be 3, lost one now down to 2. Switched them in to bigger pots and i need to figure out a way to keep the temp down in my room :/

Today i moved around some lights and put 4 - 42 watt cfl 2700k bulbs into the mix, is this too much 2700k for veg??
Running along top of the plants i have 4 - 17 watt 4200k cfl tube lights
Also decided to start just a little lsting

comments questions????

the lst looks gr8t
for vegg you will need 5000k or 6500k(blue spectrum)
2700k usually used for flowering(red spectrum)
how long u been veggin ?

thanx its been 28 days since they have been in soil. so would it essentially help or hurt it to have the 2700k during veg??

YOUR NOT HURTING THEM,BUT THATS NOT THE BEST YOU CAN DO WITH CFL'S
WITH 27K PHOTOSYNTHESIS ISNT"WORKING ITS HARDEST".IT RESPONDS BETTER TO HIGHER (K) TEMPS
YOU COULD GET 6500K BULBS FOR THE SAME PRICE AS THOSE 27'S

IF I HAD SOME MORE CASH I'D BE VEGGIN WITH A METAL-HALIDE

THE 27'S WILL COME IN HANDY WHEN ITS BUD TIME

im runnin 19 hrs light 5 hours dark
probably gonna take out the 2700s put them in my flower area for when the time comes - not only that it will help me to maintain my temperatures better so that works out

since the last post i started lsting and this is where we stand:
just been doing the regular watering no nutes yet - but soon..
