:leaf: Hello Everyone i will be starting a Journal & Thread to document my 2nd grow. I started 8 seeds at 8:30 PM CST. & hoping 5 make it thru because thats all the room i have...In order of priority for a spot in the grow tent if push comes to shove for room. 2 Barny's Tangerine Dream, 1 G-13 Pineapple Express, 1 Nirvana's Bubblelicious, 2-3 Green House Arjan's Strawberry Haze & 1-2 Green House Himalayan Gold. i accidentally mixed up the Strawberry & the Himalayan so not sure how many of each but i started 4 total between the 2. if lack of room ill drop the H.G. & A.S.H. because of the different grow rates and a few other factors.

I have the seeds in sandwich bag doing the paper towel method in my seedling dome with a heat mat...Hope there is progress in the morning...

Neat-0 I will probably check in on this because I wanted to get the G-13 pineapple express.

I have 16 seeds coming and maybe for my next order probably the G

Don't hold ya breath on the Tangerine dream. Barney's seeds for this suck. At present I have (doing very well) 5 x TD ..... 1x indica dom, 2x 50/50, 1x serious Sativa dom and one that was both(yes both, read down) just in 3rd week flowering.
You would NOT believe (read all threads relating to TD and you will lol) the seeds I've been through to locate uniform... non mutated examples.
I have had many double and tripple headers... one double header was one stem indica and the other stem sativa(Very ill looking sativa) I cut off the sativa side and the indica doing great now.

Hillcrest - yeah ive followed a handful of TD threads and have found numerous people having issues with em. I hope i didnt waste $65.00....
I woke up this morning and inside my dome it was 95 degrees... i just got this dome and mat setup and boy does it get hot. I hope i didnt bake the seeds.
The bag with the Himalayan gold has 3 seeds with a tap root popping out, none others have shown any change....
Im crossing my Fingers for the Tangerine dream...

Good luck on TD, fingers crossed for you, I've had 4 TD's in soak & paper towels for 4 days now, still not cracked, i had buddy of mine who lives in amsterdam go to barneys & buy me 5 fems & mailed them to me, so these came direct from barneys, i was also told these were not first batch or anything, but im getting rather suspicious of this strain, the lil s.o.b's just won't crack, i also got some utopia haze from barneys, she cracked no problem & nice lil taproot, she went into cube few hours ago, was hoping they would both grow at the same time.

keep eachother updated.

HOUSTON WE HAVE LIFT OFF!!!
I currently have 7 of the 8 seeds cracked open with a lil white bit of blubber sticking out the seem....Im still a newbie but from what my common sense tells me...There is for sure a chemical reaction going inside the embryo and it has grown in size so there for im thinking they have started to grow....All but 1 of the Strawberry Haze/Himalayan seed have started to germinate(i think its the proper term)... I got em in a plastic bag. i took a full size paper towel folded in half twice and trimmed the edges so it would fit in bag. Not much action over night so i folded the towel up and left for 6 more hours and the seem split. My thermometer currently says its 85f inside grow dome...maybe since its a tropical strain maybe it needs high humidity and high temps to get the Tangerine Dream's engine going. Most of the people i see who have problems have their temps around 75-80f...Hell over night i only had a maybe half inch of air space between heat mat and seeds and the inside temp was 96f...maybe that helped to get the Tangerine Dream started... idont really know nor care, all i know we have some action going on... so basically within 24 hrs i have all 7 out of 8 seeds off to the tracks....Tune in tomorrow at the same bud channel and the same bud time... HaSh!! PoT!!! bOnG!!!! LOL....

I am subbed. I put 2 x Td, 1 sugar black rose, grapefruit and pineapple express in paper towel on 2/21. 3 days later 1 TD and grapefruit cracked..they have been in dome under 5 26w CFLs for 8 days and still having popped through rapid rooter surface...getting a little irriated. 1 TD, 1 sugar black rose and pineapple express have been in paper towels for 9 days and still no cracking...irritated to say the least

Its an organization that I started...i only have a facebook page i started up a few years after i got home from my 2nd tour in Iraq. I would love to get it more well known but i dont have the time nor the means to get it to where it needs to be...I served 6 yrs as a reconnaissance scout with 2 tours in theatre. i am the typical fucked up combat vet that actually is now fucked up...put it this way, whatever could happen in iraq did happen to us in iraq...my truck was blown up twice, i took bullet shrapnel that missed my head by about an inch. i killed a man(who ended up being innocent) in front of his 12 yr old son, one of my sergeants shot a 12 yr old in the knee with a 9mm fully auto silenced machine gun. a gun he was not authorized to use. he shot a dog while we were moving in on a hard target raid and the bullet killed the dog and went thru and hit a kid in his knee about 100 yrds away...after mission heard lady screaming and a boy crying. i get the medic and we access the situation and the bullet is lodged IN his knee, just behind the knee cap...my captain says pack it and tell him to get to a local hospital...our docs could have saved his leg, its our responsibility, we shot him...but an iraqi doc in middle of a war...CHOP!!!...i dunno maybe im a pussy...but those things fucked me up...not to mention i lost 40% of my hearing, facial scarring, and my body aches everyday from being blown up twice...did i mention i dont sleep, maybe 4-5 hrs a night from like 5am to 9:30-10am....i've awoke up in my closet in middle of night looking for my gear a few times...i just start to cry when that happens....i relive that day i held part of my battle buddys face in one hand atleast twice a week or the time i picked up what was left of 7 of our infantrymen...God DAMN IT, im crying now....this is why i started Combat Veterans For Cannabis...its the only thing ive found that brings me back to being happy and gets my mind off death. im always mad and angry or sad and angry or drunk & angry or drunk & sad...but when i smoke i dont feel those emotions like survivors guilt, i dont have colds weats & nightmares, i dont get road rage nor do i feel like i really wanna put my fist thru someones smug fucking face, i dont smell things that are not there...ever smelt a man burning for an hour? a man you called your friend? i do, almost every day. i swear on my life and everything good ive done within it, not one pill out of the 6 or 7 different ones the veterans hospital has given me even comes close to how relieved marijuana makes me feel.and even in medical marijuana states the Vets Hospital /VA wil not cover this type of medications...its bullshit...im like paul culkin from new mexico..i just want to medicate with out being judged nor loose the honor i built around myself by being put infront of a judge and being called a felon...sorry for the rant...you caught me on a day with no pot...so this is why you cant find it on google...lol

p.s. all of my seeds with tap roots have been placed in root riot plugs and in the grow dome....just waiting on my jardin to arrive so i can get it set up...

yeah all of these seeds just took off with very lil hesitation. the Pineapple's tap root was 2 inches in what 2.5 days while the others where about an inch long. the TD's where lil over inch a piece, the bubblelicious is about an inch and the 3 strawberry's range from inch to half inch...

i was there during the initial push into ramadi with 2id. dont tell the VA u smoke or you might have your benefits taken. supposedly the VA doesnt recognize pot which is stupid because they'd rather have you jacked up on pills, then more pills to cover those pills.

so you probably have an idea of what i speak of....thanx for serving our country and welcome home brother....thats what kills me...ive taken in or welbutrin(garbage) sertralin(trash) lexapro(nope), celexa, (no effect) trazadone(kinda drousy), & xanax has all been prescribed...and a damn severe panic attack anxiety / sleeping pill that knocks my socks off...begins with "s"..i forget...dont wanna go look for it...anywho yeah, you tell em this happens when i take this they give you thata...that causes this, they give something else,and so on and so on...just give me some pot to smoke so i wont be a criminal and ill be ok, i swear...

ok well here is where they are at...i arranged them a lil fucked in the dome...
lets see from left to right & top to bottom the strains are as follows:
Strawberry Haze(S.H.)then T.D. then S.H. then T.D. then Bubblelicious then S.H. then Pineapple Express(P.E.)...sooo all the way left are all 3 S.H. the top right 2 are both Tangerine Dreams and the bottom right 2 are bubblicious (the one closer to the inside) and Pineapple Express is farthest in bottom right corner...i should probably just put name tags on them...hello: my strain is....lol...but so far the bubblicious, the pineapple and a TD are the 1st three to bust out of its hole...it took only about 14 hrs for them to go from middle of the plug to reaching to the sky...nice...its gotta be the high temp im keeping them at...

how moist is the paper towel? ive grown seeds 3 diff times and all 3 times ive placed paper towel in a sandwich bag and within a few days all have popped with an inch tap root unless ive had a dead seed that turned a deep blackish color...atleast thought they were dead...but try and keep the temps up a lil higher and keep it plenty moist. my plugs were saturated with ph 6.0 water with lite(1/4 strength) nutes i actually took from my current grow of himalayan gold. my grow dome stayed around 88-92 degrees while germinating and now ive got it down to 86. all of my seeds popped whithin 18 hrs and 3 out of 7 are over 1.5 inches tall now in the plug...since ive had good results with this recommend you trying mimicing mine since most of your seeds are same as mine...do you have a heat mat? i got a grow dome at menards but any large home supply store would have one for under 30..i paid 20 for mat & dome/planters cups...makes it very easy...

Thank you for your service! I know what you are going through. My father was an under water welder & river rat in Vietnam, and he has told me some things that I would rather not repeat. PTSD is for real. He was also poisoned by his own country, Agent Orange fucked up a lot of people!!

Good luck with your grow. I'm very interested in some of the strains you have started.

still just 3 have popped out of the plugs. the unpopped TD is growing downwards, is that a problem or will it soon enough start growing up? it has a bout a 4" taproot out the bottom of root riot plug....temps at 87f humidity is at 88%....
