what are these 93s for LOL how many times I've commented on this? Nice find on the healthy seed. You couldn't get just one viable seed if you tried to do it. It's a sign from the pot gods. My ladies are doing ok. 5 out of 7 of them have one deficiency or another but I'm not too worried about it so close to harvest. Less than 3 weeks until 9 weeks 12/12. Maybe less till chop but 1st time actually doing anything but planting the seed outside and coming back to claim my lady at the end of the year, so I'm not too sure. Maybe you can help, All the plants trics are cloudy except for one plant, the fimmed late starter. Saw a few ambers but very scarce. Some stems of newer trics are amber though. I still got new white hairs growing but the orangest (made up word but you know what I mean) one has about 40 percent changed pistils. How long from all cloudy to 30-40 percent amber. I'll throw some but shots up tomorrow after you do if its alright with you sir. My VKs smell has changed from a light minty tone to a obtrusive dank stank. The Mazars are still berry.

the pot gods are indeed good to me. :) im looking forward to the vk's im expecting nothing less then dank. lol

as far as the trics, ive read in high time mag that when the tric bulb is swollen but clear, that is peak thc potency. there is a thread on this site regarding that. so, i would say when the buds look ripe to you. what do you want out of them, kinda thing. not sure. hair color is not as relevant as your choice of tric development. curious to see your pics.

they smell wonderful. i love the odor when i turn the lights on. and they are getting huge. being this is a perpetual grow, i planted: 1x ice cream, 3x chrystal, 3x vortex, 3x sage'n'sour, 1x pineapple dynamite, & some unknown dank seeds. i will be cutting a few that are in flower and i will regenerate/re-veg a couple as well. happy growing. :eyesmoke:

You have a forest! They look really happy. In turn they'll make you really happy in about 1 month n a half when your trimming up pounds... well after your hands stop hurting from all the trimming. How much you think you'll yield based on your first grow and how great they look? Is the second to last one la blanka? My LaB is my fastest grower of the new bunch. Hope she grows just like yours. I was going to post some bud pics but I'm trying to get some tric shots with the microscope too. Its a pain in my ass.

lol. thanks. talk about hand pain! my last harvest left my hand crimped up. hahahaha. last harvest was around 12 and 1/2 ohs dried. i could have done better but, i was still learning. this one.... close to two lbs i think. time will tell. the vks are picking up a strong dank honey odor.
nice looking forward to some of your pics. the la blanka is growing like a pro. but the SLH's are getting huge! i think they like what i am feeding them. :)

thank you very much. they smell so good right now. i do need to bring down the rh a bit at lights out. still 20% with lights and 60% in the dark.
im more then ready for them.

very nice kether! i looks like a field of green in there. not a hint of deficiency or nute burn or anything other than green lush healthy marijuana :) . can't wait to see those buds fatten up!!

thanks. im looking forward to the same thing. ;) i am going to get some support sticks/beams. a few of the ladies look to be real, real heavy producers.

i hope the 'ice cream' bean and the 'pineapple dynamite' bean pop. so much going on right now. ;)
picked up a 1/2 of 'blueberry headband' & 'voodoo'.......it's interesting how i can get just as stoned off of lower thc strains like voodoo. goes to show how much the terpens and others effect the high. like myrrh, it's odor contains a terpen that acts like an opioid. very interesting...

Yea I think you'll get about 2 also, 913.2387625 grams to be exact. I've heard people refer to terpenes before, mostly when talking about purple flavor, but that's something I've never looked into. Thanks for the link. Its crazy how deep this plant goes. Ok so I tried and tried ..... and tried some more and I got one good tric shot. So I'll just post that and whatever couple shots I see that look sparkly. Lemme know what you think about readyness. All my ladies trics look similar to this except one thats a little behind. I have trouble sleeping so I prefer mostly a sleepy time stone.

hey bostoner, nice pics! they look ready to me! cloudy trichs and frosty looking buds. letting them go amber will cause some of the thc to degrade into cbn, which does cause a more drousy/sleepy experience, so if that's what you're going for, then maybe wait another week?

Really? Well there almost at 7 weeks and the strain info I've found says 9 weeks for both Mazar and Vkush. Well on attitude it said short flowering for vkush but upon further research 9 weeks was suggested. I was planning on cutting one on the 10th so I'd have something dried and in jars for 4/20 n cutting most the others like the 14th n on. If you think It looks good Ill cut one r two sooner. I saw your grow homer and they looked delicious so I do trust your input. The hairs will all orange up when drying right? I rather like a bit of an up stone as long as i have something else that will put me to sleep. But good to hear I'm so close. I'm getting excited!

Just keep an eye on them. they do look close to me. nice tric shot. id say 1 & 1/2 to two weeks. but, definitely keep an eye out in case they finish before that. beautiful plants though bostoner.

i have been studying terpens sense i began this hobby. the plant is indeed deep. it has so much potential.
keep us up on your grow.

Thanks man. Yea that was about the original plan. Might take one a little sooner just to see the difference for future grows. I'm all about the learning experience. As for throwing them in the dark for at least 48 hours past the original dark period, since I'm taking them at different times, I have a bird cage that I'm just going to put trashbag or 2 over to keep out the bit of light that may be there. My question being how should I ventilate? should I throw a fan blowing up at them through the bottom of the cage? Should I avoid direct air contact with the plants? I don't want no stinkin mold.

hell yea!!! if those trics are from the buds and not the leaves then she is ready when you are!!! They sure are frosty enough!!! chop at cloudy, don't believe that amber BS!!! great job!!!!

Thanks mang. I only ever heard of the 30-40% amber since joining this site. Before that never did any research. All the bud I buy to smoke barely has amber trics, all cloudy. I just thought people on here knew something the people who supply me didn't. Since I have the time to experiment and really find out how ripe I like it, I'm going to wait on some. But you guys convinced me to give at least one the chop sooner. Ill throw at least one in the dark asap. Thanks for your help guys. Just started flush with plain water.

the smells are getting very strong. the ladies are getting very big.
