2nd topping, have I gone too far?

So I've topped my plants at different stages to see the different results. On this particular plant, I did the first topping on the fifth tier of fan leaves. After a week both new tops were going great, so I threw caution to the wind and topped both of the new tops as well, exactly 7 days after the first top was removed from the main branch. Am I being too top crazy, and is there a good time to start your second tops?

I always do things to my plants ... then ask is it was smart. Then I do my homework and hope I didn't FUCK UP....
