2nd try round 2800 watts hid

Ok so I'm back ... Lol
This time I'm using 6x mh 1xhps all 400w
The room is massive also this time
Ive set up a 4x1 meter nft and I'm also about 2
Set a 12 pot drip feed recirculating system
I'm growing 10 ghs lemon skunk,1x northern lights x big bud,1x ny ak
These r from attitude seeds
I also am expecting 5x purple Kush clones
Over the next few days
I will post some pics of the babies in the morning
As I can't upload from my iPad 4 some reason ??
And of the room and the lights and what not .....
Fingers crossed I will up date every week
So lets see what happens lol

Sounds good and you should get good weight out of it , but why are you firing up 7 different ballasts? This will cost you , maybe furrther down the track consider 2x 1000w hps and a 600w mh. Hps are slightly more efficient. Also these ballasts and lights produce lot of heat ,are they cooltubed and room ventilated?

I went with the 400s
Because i wanted a better spread
And yeah the lights do get hottttt lol
But the temps steady @ around 82 when all the lights r on
I'm not air coolin the lights but have very good exhaust and circulation

82 sounds good. The 400's have more advantages like vertical lighting as long as the ballasts dont bump up the bill too much.

the seedlings r just starting 2 show
the second set of true leaves
and the clones r not very happy
@ the mo but im sure they will pick up
over the next couple of days . . . . . lol
if not its back 2 the clone bank
im only running 3 of the 7 lights
and im thinking about swapping
the back 2 lights 4 1 600w
also the seedling have been cooked
a little by the light which has now lifted
and all seems well again

why would you say 400's have more advantage ???? i run 10,000 watts and average above 2360 grams per 2000 watt over lapped spread area ??? which also produces a hell of alot more lumens

Ok so it's been awhile since my last post
But I'm pleased with the way things r going
I decided 2 add a 600w hps and also changed
1 of the lights over the main tray
So there's 3 400w mh and 2 400w hps over there

I just added another 36 purple Kush clones
And I'm gonna do about another 50 tomorrow
That will take the total 2 about 120 plants
So fingers crossed lol

Ok so I've had a bit of stem rot since my last post in here
I've been treating whith h202 in the res and sprying the stems
I wasn't having much luck
And the the guy in my local hydro store advised me
2 try thornit canker powder
I came home looked it up and could only find 1 4 animals wtf ??? Lol
Anyway after a bit of research I found that the same type bacteria
That affects the plants affects alot of household pets
So I mixed it up into a paste and painted it on the stems
I am happy 2 say all seems 2 b going well
The stems have started growing again and the rot is shrinking
And it's only been 2 days

Yesterday I added a 120x120x200cm gro tent
2 the room as a clone/mothering room
I'm very impressed with it £55 free p&p off eBay
The 1 that was 2 sizes smaller was £80 from my local hydro shop

here r some update pics
ive added some more purple kush clones
they,ve got some nice new growth
ive got about 12 0r 15 more clones
2 fill the last tray
the oldest plants have started 2 really grow
2 the point that i could do with lifting the lights abit
i reckon about 2/3 weeks max untill i switch 2 12/12
i just wanna give my new clones enuff time 2 get set in b4 i do
aslo i put in a couple pics of the little 1 i lost 2 the stem rot
just so it can b used 4 reference really
