hey buddy im glad you mentioned that, because i was planning on doing it tomorrow anyways.
I was planning on skinning the end of the stem to expose the flesh, and i was going to apply some rooting gel on the cut before filling up the pot with soil. what you think?
hopefully you see what is going on from my point of view. it all sounds correct.
let me know before i carry through with it tomorrow!

well, thought i'd give an update of the plants.
Lefty handled her surgery very well. only did small portion of the stem, and if her reactions are good then i will continue next week.
Baby (middle plant) has sprouted finally. I forgot how small these guys start off as :p
Righty is getting very leafy, and the 2 fan leaves are blocking so much light. I was wondering if I had to trim any leaves but hopefully thats not necessary.
feedback is good.

I would guess between the fan and 2 day watering cycle that your baby needs a drink, sticking a finger into the soil 1/2" test for dryness and you should be picking up each individual pot to feel its weight, I water my girls by feeling how heavy the pot/container is, after a while you can get real good at knowing when you need a drink. Another thought is be sure your light is not to close, put the back of you hand at the crown of the plant, if you hand is burning so will your plants.
Keep growing, things will get easier!

are you sure she needs watering? her pot isnt as light as it gets before watering, and the soil is slightly moist an inch deep.

i have told you already to just start over m8.. i know you want to keep these plants but they are stressed and just going to give you problems.

build a room

get some quality organic soil and organic nutrients

and start over.....

thats my advice as it has been this whole time. No idea whats wrong with your plant.

yes Matt. I took your advice a week or so ago and have already started on a new project.
I just dont feel comfortable throwing out a paper with still so much room to draw on.

Looks like it needs water and a bigger pot filled to the top with soil. If you look at the growing stickys you can diagnose most problems yourself. This forum has all the info you need grow great plants.
