El Dorado county California(calaveras county border)

Up there in the burn zone of Mountain Ranch gun shots rang out in the predawn hours.

2 brothers growing a patch of weed plants(under 99)out in the cleared mountain knoll surround by pine trees.

Long driveway(gated and locked from the main hwy)

Channel 10 news shows a nice over head of the grow.Looks like 18 plants had been cut.

Shooter was 30-31 years old.Now locked up with 2.5 million dollar bail.

3 dead,shot in the back with shot gun(stanislaus residents.

No question things escalated. Now three people are dead- over a plant- and the shooter is looking at life.

There's no other way to stop this kind of shit from happening than to reduce the price of product to the point where it won't be worth killing for.

The price of all drugs wont be reduced purposely because once a dealer gets busted the cops or feds get everything they worked for anyways.

There was a follow up story that the sheriff dept was investigating a report that it wasn't a theft at all but possibly a dispute over pay.......:roll:

How old were the departed? Hope its not kids... There are other ways to guard the crop without lethal force.


I would have thought the outdoor in northern Cali would be harvested by now.
