3 seeds down 2 popped one i found..

So i put 3 seeds down. and two popped. well actually one popped all the way and shed its seed husk and the other has the tap root curved down and ready to pop probably within the next couple of days.

its been about 6 days since i planeted them. i don't pre germinate either.

however on the third seed i noticed that the tap root was growing in the wrong direction it was growing up and to the side. so i just turned the little bad boy around and pointed the tap root down into the soil medium.

does doing those kind of things harm the seed?

As long as you were gentle and didn't damage the root it should be fine

i actually thought the same i just wanted to see if i was right.

i used tweezers so i hardly scathed it it was just growing in a funky way and would probably lose energy before it poked out of the soil.
