3 week old clones..need some help..got pics!!

i have 2 3 to 3 1/2 week old clones.. dwc 2 5 gal. buckets 400w mh.. since i started them in the buckets ive been getting reddish brownish "gunk" collected on my roots...my leaves are barely turning downwards at the tips... the gunk is the same color as the hydroton and idk if it could be coming from that or what.. can anyone help me out?

did you clean your hydroton?

they look fine...no worries...you may see some discoloration from the hydroton. I wouldnt worry unless it starts spreading

I think its that kinda dust thats on it when you buy .. Next time you should soak the hydroton ...

They should be okay ... maybe clean your res

ya i guess i didnt clean the rocks. i change the water every 7 t 10 days
