3 weeks in on Chronic Fluoros. Is the plant where it should be?

I found someones grow box online and was wondering if their plants were going to turn out alright. The plants are 20 days old and have been under a full spectrum (5000k) light so far. The look small compared to real grow rooms but healthy compared to a lot of other fluoro grows i have seen.

The plant has sky rocketed in the last week do to the fact that she was given nitrogen and phosphate.

Is it okay to switch her into flowering considering the targeted height of the plant is only about 25 inches tall? Also, should the bulbs be switched to 2700k fluoros?

Also, the seeds were obtained by the person buying a half eighth of what was said to be a male chronic plant. However, I was thinking maybe it was a hermi which produces all female seeds, right? It is clear that this is a indica dominant plant but i assume that there is no way of having even a guess of the strain until late into flowering.

mj plants will double or hopfully tripple in size from the start date of flowering soo use this as a guideline as to when to switch to 12 12 light cycle

Thanks for the reply. I think these plants are going to triple in size pretty easy now that they are giong to see these lights for flowering. 10 23w 2700k 1600lumen. The hood really keeps the light down too as you can see in the photos.

you might want to transplant before switching into flowering, depending on the size of the bucket or pot your transplant will have an influence on how big your plants get as well...they look pretty healthy too. your setup is simple but effective as well, i personally think it was a good idea to use a cake pan for a reflective hood...makes your lighting more effective either way. you got a fan in there?

I used to grow only using fluro tubes, works fine just plants are smaller and veg takes a bit longer fi you want them to be half decent anyway.
Hps mh bulbs are great for big fat juicy tight buds, fluros and cfls tend to produce lighter buds:leaf:

I believe it's a pan for pasta haha. And yes that is aluminum foil on the walls. I learned that just white is better though. Transplanting is a possibility. I'll look into it. Thanks for the responses guys.

Okay so we should hope these plants don't stretch to continue the hope that these are actual chronic strain seeds I guess.

i would let them get 2-3 more sets of nodes before you flower since they are from seed, clones go well right away but from seeds they like a tad longer grow time, and yeah for the bulbs i would use half and half

well after bad nute burn in the 2nd week of flower and not being attended for the entire 5th week of flower which resulted in having to cut off the entire top cola of every plant...... this is what they look like after 7 weeks.... not bad i guess??
