Big pots make nicer plants i seems i think 2 plants in 2 big pots would yield similar to 6 plants in smaller pots ... Nice grow man.

You germinated these and planted them as seedlings?

Where did you technically measure 'vegging' stage beginning? In other words, how long after you planted them until you started counting the days as vegging?

Its possible, mine are about that size, prob bigger. Im on day 25 (day 2 flowering no preflowers at all yet), its all in my journal from seed through until today. They are monsters!!! I was really caught off guard by how much growth you can get out of a properly setup hyrdro and lighting combo. Good work, its hard to believe they were started from seeds, but I have seen and so I can believe it. Good job!

Oh, I don't doubt it. I'm a newbie, though, and was just curious about how long after the seedling sprouted the technical vegetative growth begins...

Well technically your supposed to wait until the plant is between 6-8 weeks old under a 18/6 schedule. When the preflowers show, its mother natures way of telling you that the plant is sexually mature. Then you cut the light back and wait another 7-9 weeks. That's why cloning is so much more productive. No waiting 2 weeks in a 12/12 cycle without even knowing if its a boy or a girl. But we all do what suits our needs. Not the plants needs.

I can say for one you got some serious stretching going on. you should have topped em and let em mature a little more. I see a lack of leaves which collects the sunlight. They do look good though. I'm sure they are going to fill out pretty well as well.
