30 Day flush: is it needed?

I know that a lot of people say that you should flush your plants every 30 days to remove all toxic salts from the roots. I was wondering if the same is true about organics? I just flushed my plants that have been vegging for about 35 days and I was thinking if I even needed too, or should of! Did I just destroy my microbeastie colony in my soil? Let me know what you guys think.

flushing is geared more towards chem ferts I think, I find 7 days for organics works great.

No, I mean a flush after 30 days of veg to remove all built up nutrients and salts. Not a pre-harvest flush. Sorry for the confusion.

I have never even heard of people doing that.

The plants will use up the nutrients so why even waste them?
