30 Square Foot Modular SCROG Timing Input

Hey Peeps, Bout to bust out a SCROG.
Little background info - I got 6 RDWC Plants flowering while 6 plants veg (Only 6 flower at any one time)
2 x 1000 watts in flower (just added the 2nd light!):bigjoint:

I have been growing them with about 5 toppings .. super bushy about 6 feet tall above the buckets. I hate the popcorn crap I get below.. top buds are great.

SO..... I'm going SCROG

I have space for a 5' x 6' screen (30 square feet), I will be running 6 plants (blackjack). Problem is the veg room and flower room are separate so it would be impossible to move the plants /screen after veg... but, I am now going to go with Modular Scrog screens. A separate screen for each plant. This way I can move them to the flower room! NICE!!!!

I know in SCROG timing is very important along with screen fill percentages between veg and flower.

What I am asking is can anyone with experience give me some timing tips?
Each modular screen for each plant will end up being 2' x 2.5' square feet.

how long would veg be from clone about? Fill the screen to maybe 70-80% then let the stretch in flower fill in the rest?

I am just wondering how long on average would it take to properly fill and veg a screen of that size - 2' x 2.5' square feet - with one plant - (there will be six of these) My main problem is the flower time on these blackjacks is about 11.5 weeks! I cut clones right when they go to flower... so 3 months of veg is a bit long.. but maybe not in scrog since I have to do so much training. I am just trying to make sure I don't outgrow the screen for each plant.

I veg under a parabolic with a vert 600MH bulb... my plants grow pretty fast in RDWC.....

I know there are a ton of variables. but can anyone with SCROG experience give me a little input on timing? I would like to get this grow dialed in without having to go through a couple SCROG grows to figure it all out.. any input would be great .. Thanks peeps.

On another note.. I pulled 1.8 lbs with 6 Blackjack plants and a single 1000 watt and monster bushes.. great weight, but like everyone I'm trying to up the yield and quality!

Thanks in advance. Send any good SCROG karma my way!

I am amazed how many posts on this site never get a response. I've been goolging "modular SCROG" for a couple of hours and I keep getting posts like this. So how did it turn out? It sounds like you've done your research and have it pretty much correct. Problem is everyone's conditions are different. There's the strain, the light, the growing medium, etc. Since you're using HID lighting and DWC you won't have to veg as long as me. I kept mine going in pro-mix under fluoros for almost two months to get the screens at 70% full. For my modular SCROG I just screwed 2" drywall screws at each corner in my rose buckets and then stretched a piece of plastic fencing across. It works pretty good, and I agree that a screen for each plant is the way to go if you run a perpetual harvest.
