300 watt PS25 bulbs??

Does anyone know if you can use these kinds of bulbs. They are basically just your standard shop lights. I read the box and it puts out 6200 lumens, now i dont know if these are the right light spectrum. So if someone could help me out here that would really help. 300watt PS25 bulb.

yeah im pretty sure that it is. i cant find it on the website, but im almost positive that it is. It says it puts out 6200 lumens on the box, implus i have very reflective surfaces in my grow room

no, very high wattage for low lumen output

I got a pulse start metal halide 350 watts if u want one.. puts out 33,000 lumens aprox pending on bulb
something to compare to.

well i was already planning on getting a hps bulb today, but i was just wondering if my crop is getting anything out of the bulb that im using now.

u would be better off with a couple 23 watt cfl's.. they put out around 1800 lumens per 23 watts and are only a few dollars for 3

well ill look when i go to lowes. i was just gunna get a hps bulb cuz according to things to know about lighting, itz just better overall. i dunno, ill descide when i get there. could you provide me with some suggestions on what to look for.

how about a 150watt hps bulb, would that work good?
