chef ... u know u just gotta ask bro, aint no thang ;) glad ur back on now

bubba - on the LEDs, just expect finish times to take @2wks longer than advertised for whatever strain(s) you are working. use a 30x loop to check trichomes for finishing. I ran a panel last year and strains that I'm very familiar with working under HIDs consistantly would take 2-3wks longer to finish under the LED panel. yields and quality were top notch, on par with an HID using similar amperage (400HID=3amps, my 600w LED panel=3amps). I wouldn't hesitate to use it again when the weather warms up and forces me to change my setup to drop the thermals

*edit: just read db's experience with his LED panel. my own experience (with a stealthgrow sg602) in flowering all of last year under it with several strains I have experience with under 1000w HIDs = as stated above, flowering times took @2-3wks longer to finish; buds were tight and thick and on par with an HID of similar amperage, same with finish weight and quality. personally, I wouldn't hesitate to use it again when I need it. but I prefer the weight and faster finish of the HID (when temps allow). ideally, I'd mix the LED panel with an HID for best results (not enough room in my small space, nor the thermal allowance)

I'll never flower with led alone again. I do like this picture though. probably wouldn't look that much different (minus the red glow to the sides) if I'd have just run the hid alone but it wasn't on a mover at the time, now that it is on a mover I still have one panel to the left of it but consider it more a waste of power than anything. I do like to veg under led though.

Thanks much. I would prefer a big room and a few 1kw lights also, but I am a cabinet grower until no minors are left under the roof. The LEDs seem to be my only answer for a grow system that I can leave for 3 to 5 days at a time, so I can live with 2 weeks longer to harvest for sure.

Ok this thread isn't gonna fade away into history quite yet ( I may hire femspermy or wtf ever you guys are calling him now) as PR but this thread WILL go on. I just purchased a 600 watt 4k solistek lamp and will run it in tandem on a mover with another lamp I'm not really sure what will be yet, not to mention a couple hours or better of some LED panels in the morning. the solis tek is a 600 watt 4k lamp. I was thinking I'd run a hortilux blue beside it but not sure. maybe a 600 watt 3k sunpulse instead.
Edit: oh yeah forgot, it's gonna be all 303 indicas! this should be a change of pace.

sounds like a breeze to me, I don't have an income since friday and I really can't see living TOO much longer.

So you have to make your local mod your Bride for a sticky? A life commitment and three months salary sounds like a lot for a sticky. :P
