318 Watts CFL & Kessil h-150 Grow

helllo everyone. just posting this for everyones enjoyment and maybe some pointers and hopefully help some people out.
this grow has been going back and forth from 2 different patients for awhile now.
finally settled with the 318 Watts of CFL and the Kessil h-150(32 watts)
using all organic nutrients. ALASKA NUTRIENTS(morbloom and fish emulsion)
co2 bag and lady bugs also.
3 different plants; Afgoo x blueberry(baby), Williams Wonder, & Purple kush.

looks sick.

Never seen lady bugs put into a grow...interesting. Do lady bugs feed on the pests that normally plague cannabis like spider mites? I know lady bugs eat aphids...just don't know what else they eat.

Looks good, I have a similar set up going now....tent with several cfls wired up, works pretty well.

yep, they will eat pretty much any bugs that can fuck with your plants. not to mention they look cool as fuck chillin on your leaves everytime you open the tent haha. the main thing is making sure they cant fly, cause they will fly right out of the container when you buy them, so be careful.

the purple kush is kinda sick right now. we have a powdery mildew problem right now, any advice?

I've read that you can use neem oil to both treat and prevent powdery mildew...plus it's an organic method so you can keep things safe for you

could be a humidity prob too

Things that can contribute to powdery mildew are:
moisture and water left in grow room. - take out all runoff water and make sure carpets aren't wet
Not having enough beneficials. - use a compost tea to innoculate soil with loads of benefical bacteria and fungi. some forms of beneficial fungi will eat the powdery mildew forming fungi.

whats the best way to exterminate spider mites?
could use some help..

Diametacious Earth. look in local nursery's and animal feed stores.
