Hay Matchbox do you know about how long you will veg? I think worring about one plant would be better than worring about 15 at a time. MB

Nice 1 MB. I know what you mean about dates. Past the first couple of grows it all seems to get forgotten.

looks like your 90 watter is from pro source worldwide, if so he recommends keeping temps around 80-85 with his leds. Ive been doing just that and the plants seem to love it
90 watter is a custom build light with spectrums and spread that I asked for, not from pro-source, probably uses a similar skin like most LED's do. but yeah my temps are ace.

Solid growth... Go CHAMP! :)
Thanks for stopping in! appreciate it!

Don't know I do everything by eye now, probably a good 'nother 5 weeks see how fast she shoots up now she's finished the slow seedling development :/ depends what system you have, a nice single strain ebb and flo system will be a piece of cake to manage 15 plants in :)

yeah I only roughly pay attention when flower comes around even then it's sketchy at best XD I work now as well so it's just I check on her and do stuff as and when I get a chance, more than when it's needed, the less interference the better I say.

While I'm here I might as well post some kind of update:

As usual so far so good, extra feed went down well, ph is more than stable, topped her the other night, shooting up with a nice strong 4 cola structure, next step is to do a bit of pruning so the lower tops can catch up, she's turning into a right old bush :D

That's all for now! Pics shouldn't be too far behind.

Well I was going to post some pictures but the manage attachments doesn't work (at least on a piece of crap mac) I'll try in an edit later.

Seems like it's not actually letting me post pics full stop been trying for a few days now... so until they fix this problem I'm sorry :) can't put anything up!

interesting question... I think I would keep it the same/similar, maybe up the container size and plant limit, try a proper Vertical ScrOG perhaps but I like the way I do it, I grow for the challenge and a small space is more of one than a large space. I used to just let them grow straight up after being topped, was just too easy... Plus I can go hah! to all those getting less final product than me in a larger area lol :)

And finally managed to get some pics! Seems to work on a PC...

UPDATE: (these are pics from a few days ago)

PH is steady, feed is slightly above recommended dose, looking good with no burning or deficiencies.
Started foliar feeding the other day using my AN base nute's @ 5ml Bloom, 5ml Micro, 5ml Grow in 1l of water. Growth has gone a bit crazy since! Seems whatever she's not getting from the water she's getting from the spray soo I'm not complaining!

Switching to flower in approximately 2 weeks, making this roughly a 10 week Veg period, something like that :)

Also seems I have the same phenotype as last time or at least similar, growing very bushy, strong and resistant to temps, sometimes hitting 35* for a few hours but then I open the door and it cools down to 25-27*.

Going to clone this beast I think, find some way of keeping this pheno as a mother.

Though as soon as these ones have finally gone up she's grown a LOT more since, might just do all my updates on the PC now... Useless Macs :/

Stay Frosty!

Nice job. You built your box and some of the lights? The LED lights give off a cool color light. I think in the spring I will have to try your way. match

Thanks Jimmy, there will be plenty more where they came from, just gotta find the time to do it :)

I just built the box :) Paid a company to build the lights XD, LED's are great all year round why wait till spring :) or you just talking ScrOG?

Anyways

Yeah you get nice compact buds, and lots of them, not those huge monster colas mind you :)

Anyway just re-set up my grow box CCTV, so don't need to open it for dodgy pics anymore, except for fancy closeups though.

Switched over to 12/12 last night, tonight will be her first 12 hour shift so she should start shooting up over the next week or 3!

Not the best quality but it definitely takes the time factor out of pics, meaning more often, but the same angle... Might be cool from seed, 1 pic a day and time lapse it :)

A time laps would be cool. I haven't seen anyone that does LED lights that are doing as well as you are. Btw she is looking good. match

Thanks! that's what the practice is for :)

Yeah next grow I'll do a 12/12 from seed or something quick and see what happens with a photo a day!

Week 2 Flower:

Keep forgetting to check on her weekly so apologies for the lack of updates! Not that they are particularly exciting updates anyway :)

Same ol', no problems so far, going well... Making the nutrients up as I go along not measuring them to spec any more, just seeing what she needs, so far she's getting 50ml Bloom, Micro and Grow, next week will be 75ml Bloom, 50ml Micro, 25ml Grow and some Big Bud Powder!

Definitely filled up the screen nicely, could have done with another week or 2 of veg but hey what can you do!

That's all for now.

Great Journal, subbin' for a joyride.

Im a newer grower, but Endur0 makes a point- its gonna be a tight fit for 3w diodes

Whats the specs on your light? 3w/3chip set? How many wavelengths? total draw? WHAT wavelengths? sorry, just would love to get down to the nitty gritty shit.

You said you could adjust your diode's beam angles??

wtf?!? That's an amazing feature!!

Does anybody know of some brands that have this same versatility?!

Another note... How far is your screen from the tote? I am runnin a 33"x17" scrog 10" from the top of the tote, been thinking about dropping it to save on time, but dont want to end up crippling myself hit stretch.

I also answered that point :)

Specs ey... it's a 270w Panel, 3w Epistars (I think, don't hold me to that). It's got the usual reds blues and oranges, don't remember the exact wavelengths but there are about 6 or 7 of them including a few warm whites, which imo has pretty much eradicated the usual problem of CalMag deficiency with LED's. And actual draw I think is about 200w.

It has removable lenses fitted that focus the led's to 90 degrees and if you take them off it gives you the full 120 Degrees, though I'm not sure I'll need to do it, my tops are a reasonable distance away. I don't know of of any other brand with removable optics :)

And My screen is only about 3-4" above the tote, just enough space for my hands to go around the sides of the tote and pull under etc the rest of the training is done by feeding them down and under. I find it's fine to have it this close even in the flower stretch you can always keep going across the screen, just make sure it's big enough for the plant!

That's all for now!

Stay Frosty.
