Hello my name TJ and this will be my first grow journal.
Background
This will be my 3rd Grow, all of which are DWC/RDWC. My first grow of 2 Jack Herer feminized and 1 bag seed yielded about .40 lbs. My 2nd grow of 4 bagseed yielded .75lbs. As you can see my yields are not the best but they are improving. I hope to use different techniques that ive learned from you guys and other growing forums on this grow. My first grow consisted of 1 5 gal bucket w/ 6in net pot for the bagseed and a 10 gal tote for the 2 Jacks. Since then I upgraded to a RDWC which circulates about 25 gal water thru 2 30 gal totes and a rez w/ a 340gph water pump. My 2nd grow of 4 bagseed lived in the RDWC. I will be using the same setup for this grow.
Set-up
Location -
Closet grow w/ about 3.5 x 4.5 feet of actual grow area. (No tent)
Lights -
600W MH for veg that I switch out for 600W HPS in flower (only 1 ballast and hood atm
Fertilizer -
Ionic formula. Grow and Bloom. Also some MOAB for early and late flower. PPM is at 400 minus my 90 from the tap. Mix of grow and Bloom ( for the added nitrogen they needed to start reveg.
Water -
20-25 gal of circulating h20 w/ a pH of 5.5 (electro meter broke using strips atm - kinda yellow-orange color matching the 5 on the color key.
Seed/Plants -
2 clones about 5" high that are revegging (I cut them then let them bud w the rest of the 2nd crop) and 1 stalk of the best strain from the 2nd crop that is revegging.
Temperature -
Stays between 73 and 76 on a average day
Misc -
Adding about 1ml per gal of h202 for sterilizing everyday. Sometimes have to put a gallon of frozen water in the rez to control water temps (need thermometer)
Concerns -
Water temp does get pretty high as in it feels warm to the touch and there is a slight rotting smell in the totes. Water gets warm.
Equipment -
Commercial air pump idk the specs but it beast. Inline and outline fan 6 in for light hood which has a tee at the end to also pull air from the room, all of which goes outside. 1 intake hole. TDS meter. PH strips.
Don't really know what else to write so please feel free to comment with questions or concerns.
P.S. Heard much about revegging and it not being worth it, but I saw new growth in as little as 8 days. Now at 2.5 weeks they all look healthy, growing, and great.
