3rd Times a charm?

well guys my second grow dident go so well. 2 make a long story short freezer=growbox 3 inch screw in lid=venting wife doing laundry and using lid for table = murder


so here i go again this time i was smart about this i screwed a 1x2 piece of wood on the lip so it wont close and have 5 beautiful babes going now with a little different light set up b4 i was using 2 desk lamps on there side with 25w 550 lumens per bulb 2 using a 4 socket bathroom ballest with 4 25w 550 lumens per bulb and there lovin it i also am using merical grow 20-15-20 for a veg nute. they came out of the shell on oct 3 and poped the dirt on oct 7 the stem grew half an inch off the top of the soil and thats when foliage started the stem is the same hight but geting thick and a new set of leavlets have started growing i hope 2 get a camera asap so u guys can c i will be here often 2 let u guys in on the progress

so just a quick up date all 5 still alive lol 1 is about 3 inchs tall and the other 4 are still about an inch tall all 5 have started there first set of 3 leave and all have begun 2 shead there lips down the very plump stalks my grow box temp sits at 82F and about 35% humity pics coming this weekend my bro is bringing me his digital cam 2 i will up load pics soon

sry its been so long but working my bag off so a quick up date all 5 still alive all have started there 4th set of 5 leavlets and have nodes coming out at main stem where fan leaves come out havent done a transplant yet no roots coming out the bottom all look very helthy 2 plants have very short fat leaves and 3 have long skinny leaves all 5 where seeds from the same mother cant figure out y the leave structure is so different

what bulbs are you using?

only fluorescent, hps and metal halide are for growing.

that doesnt make much sense mate lol

at first i had 2 desk lamps with 25w cfls and now im using 4 25w cfls the bulbs are 25 watt but each bulb is equivelent 2 100watts

update 2 males 3 females killed the males the ladys are doing real good all 3 about a foot tall did sev hours of research 2 find that i have a bc bigbudXlowrider witch in its self has its ups and downs

UPSIDES

1 lowriders are an autoflowering strain that do not need the lights turned back 2 make them flower (thats how i found the males ) the father of my X was the lowrider so the males are keeping the father traits witch is also good cus i can spot the males fast


2 the lowrider is also a very short plant witch works well for me cus im growing in a deep freeze that is only 5x3x4 LxWxH so hight is not an issue


3 the lowrider only takes 8-10 weeks from SEED 2 HARVEST


4 lowriders do very well in a SOG grow witch im thinking of doing


5 they are 1 of the simplest weeds 2 grow (recomended for the new grower)
DOWNSIDES


1 the lowrider was made by crossing a ditch weed with a hemp plant so the lowrider its self is not that potent of a smoke


2 the short flower time makes fo a not very big yield (if ur growing 2 make money ) im not so not a big deal 2 me

there is a few more but im 2 baked 2 think of them

so overall im happy with the seeds i got (for free) and have hundereds of these seeds (want some pm me will chat )
