This is my 3rd post and none of you "experts" helped me on my first 2, so maybe, since my girls are as fine or finer than any of you mid west mud farmers I can get some help. Today is day 31 of flowering the strain is LA Confidential and I am not sure when to harvest. I know it is too early now but how do I tell when they are ready? What is the best way to cure the buds?
If no one wants to help, I understand. Jealousy of Southern Californians is common, I have been dealing with it my whole life. SO if you are too busy shoveling snow or picking corn it is cool. Once again LA comes out on top!:spew:

LOL Confident or Cocky? LOL Anyway the best way to tell when to harvest is to get yourself a handheld microscope...they are about $10. Then you look at the buds under the scope for cloudy (sometimes amber) trichomes. The best way to cure is to get airtight glass jars and leave them in a cool, dry area...rotate the buds every once in a while to make sure they cure evenly.

jesus that is one whicked bush, man...i wish i could help but i just have a lot of knowledge, less experience...I'd say its typically around two months but look at the trichomes like ^ says. that strain might get moldy if you let it go too long. where'd you get your seeds from, though? i want me some of them :blsmoke:

Very nice plants. Like Hubert recommended, check the color of the trichomes. Roughly you're looking at 8-10 weeks flowering from start to finish but each plant is different and observing the trichs is a the best way to go. Nice grow!
