3wk old bud closeup shot... trichome location?

the stuff i circled... is that what you would call bud leaves (the greenery the white hairs are popping out of? and are those the leaves that people look at to check trichome colors?

They look like the bud leaves to me, nice amount of trichomes on them already. Good job!!!

thanks dude, i've wanted to take a little cutting to view under my rs scope, but haven't been sure what part of the bud to look at...

i look more at the calyxes, the pod that the hairs come out of.

Those are totally calyxes. See the hairs coming out them?
