You guys are harsh. I didnt harvest just to have smoke on 4:20. Or for the fun/thirll of harvesting on 4:20. I didnt even smoke on 4:20 to tell you the truth. And i had plenty of smoke from last harvest.

In terms of the plant...I know a lot of people go by looks, and i went along with the comments for a while. But to respond truthfully....you cant tell if its done from a picture. If yellow leaves means done then that would be the new standard of telling when to harvest! But its not, you have to look at the trichs!!! And as far as i know, nobody here saw my trichs......That said, the trichs are at least 80% or more cloudy. Some people prefer the smoke from plants with cloudy trichs as opposed to amber. I prefer the uplifting smoke instead of coachlock. In addition the plant has stopped growing for about a week indicating that shes getting near done.

Ive been growing this strain for a while now and this was about 9 weeks. People that also have this strain sometimes harvest in 8. I appreciate the advice from people and concerns, but i dont need 10 replys saying the same thing, especially when they havent looked at the trichs. And heres a few more pics for anyone who is intrested in another strain in my garden this round....get ready to drool...dont be hatin

hell yeah man it looks nice for a high rather than stoney experience i dont understand why some people have to push their "perfect" ideals on people lol just smoke a :joint:

Its still prettier than anything I've ever seen. And i know purp isn't too great of a smoke. Its all what you make of it though. Purp sells for almost double the price of some really good chrono down here. Thats what makes it all the rage. People think that because its purple and it costs so much that its better. No the dealer knew you would think that and thats the reason he did it.

Perfect ideals,wtf are you talking about,its common knowledge to real growers that harvesting when the bud is ripe is best,its the same concept as picking fruits and vegetables,would you pick a tomato when its green becuase somewon tells you its done,no you wait till it turns red and is fully ripe:peace:

Hells yea... I heard that if you harvest a tomato while it's still green, just before it starts to turn red that is has more anti-oxidants. I have a tomato chart from a (now defunct) tomato growing group in Canada that proves it! :joint:

This is true I've been told by many a tomato growers to pick right before they turn red and let them ripen somewhere in the dark for a day. Just tomatos though. I'm done with this thread looks like its gonna turn into a fight about when to harvest.

Yea i have heard that,its true,but i get mine right after they turn red but have a little green left,it just changes the flavor is all,either way they come out good,but its the same concept as all i was saying you pick fruit right when it turns ripe,before and its sour or bitter,and after it is ok but a little aged.bongsmilie

seriously, why does a thread with my bomb posted turn into an argument about harvest timing. Its a personal preference thing. I didnt harvest when the bud hairs were all white. I didnt harvest in week 5. I harvested in week 9. Read Jorge Cervantes book on harvesting. There is room for debate on the best timing, and its a personal preference thing. Again...did you see my trichs?

Well said man, you're going to get really high off that fat bud, isn't that the point? The purpz look wicked, I've never smoked any myself but it seems to be a novelty weed strain, which looks cool as hell, who wouldn't want to grow some of that, no brainer !!

I don't completely agree with you all though I'm sure you have grown lots of bud and have a ton of knowledge.

I for one, do not flush, grow till I chop. This picture shows at least 70-80% cloudy trics which is great for the more sativa high if that's what he is after. Also, some strains show there ready in different ways. Some turn cloudy faster then other and what not.

It's amazing how many fruits and veggies you can harvest ealry, and with a few days there ripe. So an early harvest is not a bad one unless too early. In this case, I really dont see a big deal harvesting at the stage he is in. Its still going to get him high.

I have not followed any thread post from chitownsmoking, but I dont think its right to tell him to get off the boards!

But its the internet so fuck all you! :) :peace: J/K

Because t0k3s was picking his tomatoes when there not green, but then picks them with green now! I think you are leading a new revolution! Green Picker! HAHA. This thread turned into some funny shit!

Make up ur minds! Grow how ever makes you happy! Look at the trics, and u will be good. Judging you pics from the harvest, thats when I would have harvested. I like that energetic clear headed high, I gots white rhino if I want couch lock shit!

Good job on your plants and harvest Yota! Fuck the haters, tell me how you like it once its curred and ur baked!
