4.5x4.5x7ft grow tent lighting

Ok so this is my first indoor grow. I just got a real good deal on a bunch of equipment. My question is, I bought 2 1000HPS lights thinking the tent I was going to get was 4x8x7. It turns out it is 4.5x4.5x7. Will two 1000 watt lights be too much? I also have an 8in inline fan and a huge filter. so I would imagine that will take care of the heat. By the way, the hoods are inline air cooled yield master IIs.

Kick ass man. You will only want one light running. Now you just need one more tent, perpetual harvest??? You'll love the tent.

Ok on closer inspection the tent is 5x5x6'8

thanks. maybe I'll get my system dialed in with one tent then add another. what would be the optimal number of plants for a 5x5 footprint? I understand there is not single correct answer to this question.

Kinda depends on how many your aloud to grow, I would put 6 -12 in

The tent is designed to fit a 4'x4' hydro tray (actually 4'6"x4'6"). Even if you aren't doing hydro they make a great drainage tray. One hole for draining. In 2 gallon bags, you can fit 25 and 3 g. bags 16. Depends on how long you want to veg. Good luck.

I use a 4x8 tray in my 4x8 tent it's great kinda pricey but I'd do it the same again if I had too
