4 strain custom SCROG grow

It looks almost exactly like my first SCROG grow. The tent and placement of the plants is legit nearly a perfect replica.
And with that said, I thought 4 plants was just way too much to easily manage. With four plants under a good setup, I was constantly watering, feeding, pruning, etc. and as much as I love having my hands in my plants, I enjoy my kids more. Having that many plants took a lot of time and cut into time with the kids and family.
If this is your first time and have questions, I might be able to answer a few questions, but that was a long time ago and I'm just getting back into it. I have 4 beans in germ now that are from a random dude. I can't really get anything else though right now unfortunately.
If it's not your first, how do you manage your maintenance time to get the most productive crop in the most efficient manner?
I hope to see some more from you.

You arent flipping to flower june 1st if you actually wanna fill that screen out. You have a good amount of time left before it will be time to flip. beautiful scrog you made there.

Yeah I was thinking June 1 but I'm in no rush. I think June 14 would be more realistic. They are on week 5 right now. If I veg for 6-7 weeks I think the 4x4 scrog will be full. I'm hearing that you shouldn't flip until 80% is full. But I thought you want it all full. Thoughts?

Being in Colorado and owning my own business I have plenty of time on my hands. However I don't find what you said to be accurate? I water 2 times a week and it takes 1 hour ? That's 2 hours a week. So I dk maybe it just come naturally to me.

you will have more than a couple hours a week in it after you flip there will be a lot of tucking, bending, etc.to have a bitchin' scrog there's a lot more that goes into it than one would think I'm no expert I have only done 3, but have great respect for the growers that can.its almost like painting a masterpiece,you will see

The other reply was spot on. My time investment didn't really ramp up until I switched lights. That's when it got kinda nuts and was watering almost daily as the roots were just sucking up every drop I put in. I wish I still had the pics to show my yield but I had a little over 1 1/4 lbs dried and cured. Looking back at your pic, I think my box was a bit bigger (5'x5') with about 1250 watts of both HPS and MH with some CFLs just below the canopy so there was lots of light.
But you bring up a good point. I had to travel for work pretty frequently so that probably contributed to the amount of maintenance since I had to "catch up".
Regardless, your setup looks great!

I'm sure you will do fine your plants look healthy and that's the important part,next is when to flip to early and it looks sparse but too late and you have a monster on your hands that can invite all kinds of problems that has been my problem on the 3 i''ve done,I waited a little too long and things got messy, bud rot ,to be exact it sucks but next time will be better, air circulation is critical don't try to pack em in to tight that's just something I think I've learned from mine,just something to keep in mind,keep posting I would like to see how it goes good luck Bro and have fun with it

What percentage of the scrog do I reccomend I fill before flipping

that's the thing about a scrog I don't think its so much of a % as much as it is a feel for how and what the plants are doing if that makes any sense.I told myself the next time that I was gonna let the stretch take care of filling the last 25 %of the screen figuring that or shooting for having a canopy that was 6 to 8" above the screen and having around 60 days left to finish up, my theory is that the buds won't be way above the net and would be more supported like I said my last scrog I filled the hole screen with shoots 6 to 8" above and then went 12 and 12,well they exploded in the end they were so heavy they just fell over against the sides of the tent and each other, it was a mess then bud rot, yadayadayada when I get home I'll see if I still got pics I'm not proud of it but It will show you what happens when you wait too long I love your net made one just like it but my next net will have 6"x6" squares too give each bud its space I also have grown the same strain each scrog now I know the plant and what its capable of so everything I've told you I would do might not be Ideal for your plants you know what I mean? It's a feel thing a trial and error thing it's an art and there's a learning curve so what I said before enjoy it and everything is good
