astro-foil is more practical! it can be used on an on-going basis, in a multitude of applications. paint can only be put down once, and although panda film is pretty thick, astro-foil is much more forgiving. panda will rip/tear fairly easily after repeated use.
Only if you get the cheap shit... I got 10'x100' roll of 8mm panda for like $60 on Amazon and I've put industrail stapels thru it without ever tearing, the trick is to use tape over/under where you staple. The orca is more expensive but made of a more paper like material so its "stiffer" than panda film. I am getting ready to set up a basement grow and I'll be lining the walls, floor and ceiling with panda, then putting up 4'x2' EPS sheets covered in Orca around the flood tables.

Apparently, according to all of the experts, it is best to use white colored reflectors. Such as that white, black on the back plastic from the hydro store. I go with this because it's fireproof and it is designed for this purpose. I would definately resort to other means if I was strapped for cash but when I could afford it I'd get a proper reflective material.

with tacks, or small nails. don't use tape, it will peel off the outer layer, when you remove the tape...
Too late, I used the tape. It would have been hard for me to use nails, because hammering them in would be very difficult because my plants have gotten big, so the tape worked out just great.

Orca Film is highly reflective, and its a diffuse reflection so it cuts down heat retention and wont cause "hot spots" like Mylar or foil if its not perfectly flat. Which btw, Mylar is only 90%+ reflective it is in PRISTINE condition.
I also have a very tight space and have made several modulations...

Here are some old pics:

And some more recent ones. You'll notice I've made additl upgrades....

And some pics from last night are here...

Thanks for the input. I've already used Reflectix, so I'll be looking into this whole issue after chop chop.

I'll be harvesting this plant on Saturday. I'll take some close up pics of the buds! They are fricken unbelievable! The bud tower on the back left started falling over yesterday from the weight (I LOVE THIS PROBLEM!)!

Those are looking beautiful! God damn!! What nutes are you using for flower and what were you using in veg?
I like easy, cheesy, so I use (take a deep breath, because I'm going to be hammered for what I use in growing MJ), Miracle Grow Moisture Control Soil. I've done several grows with this soil, so I've figured out the path for growing Cannabis in this medium.

I use 5 gallon Smart Pots. I do not clone and only grow from seed. Once the seeds have germinated, I plant them in 1 quart plastic pots under a CFL for about a week. Then I transplant into the 5 gallon SP's for the remainder of the grow, under 2 150 watt HPS lights. Because Miracle Grow soil has built in nutrients, I don't use any nutes during veg, which is the first 3-4 weeks.

After switching over to flower, I slowly begin using Miracle Grow Flower Bloom nutes (1/2 strength, once per week). 4 weeks into flower, I begin using Blackstrap Molasses along with the bloom nutes. I use nutrients all the way to chop, chop, and I don't flush.

As you can see, I get great results. I'm going to get a 1/2 pound (or more) from this lady.

Beginning. Week 4 the first 3 pictures are black jack, black widow, Allien Dog, the rest are amnisa. 4 1000w 7gallon pots Soul synthetic from aurora are the nutrients. The 1st grow I used general hydroponics 21 plants 3 lights 1000w. 3.5 pounds know comparison to this grow I blame the nutrients I should get around 8 pounds what do you think
