$400 an ounce plus tax in the dispensaries now? Is this true?

It's a simple supply & demand issue. When the recreational hit, the demand went up while supply stayed the same.

In time things will settle but in the meanwhile if prices were lowered they would sell out fast and have empty shelves. Either way the fix is to grow more. We are working on it. :D

It is not lame to make a living. Running a weed store is really expensive. If you do not like the prices grow your own.
Why are they hippies?
It is very hard to run a business... But should be getting easier as time goes... Even now with all the demand and weed companies GROSSING 10x what they were a month ago, still many things tough about a business. It's probally almost like a new business with all the current new hires and training new employees... Just making sure I could move to Colorodo say April 1 2014 and grow 3 plants in flower and 3 in vegg right asap??? DO u need a card, license for this ??

You can indeed. Need residency but I assume that is implied. Can't sell it legally. If your renting make sure its cool with lease/landlord/property owner/etc. Also that is per adult over 21 with some areas limiting to 12 total plants per domicile.

Technically having a med card and being a resident over 21 doubles those numbers but I'm not about pushing my luck, hehe.

Get a state DL and a red card. DL / Red card address must match grow location. You could do recreational but medical gets more respect from authorities than recreational, even with high plant count. Be sure landlord, city, county are all good to go. Avoid Adams county if your smart. ;)
