but it's not illegal to stand in line and make new friends:mrgreen:
You'd get made in no time!
It was never really the cops who were the major problem.
It was the dealer who's turf you were on an who's customers you were taking.
To go into a legal sales place, strike up a conversation with the guy next to you, then you both disappear from the queue....
You do that twice and the dispensary clerk (or whatever these mugs are called) will know what's going on.

It doesn't matter if you're selling weed or burgers or I heart N Y t-shirts....if you're getting paid shit by a guy who makes serious cash, then you're a mug.

Everyone wants this minimum wage job because they're legally selling ganj?
They can have dreadlocks and baggy cannbis leaf shirts and red, gold and green woolly hats (that look fucking ridiculous)
They can construct their ENTIRE IDENTITY around one aspect of their life (the part about them liking weed).
But they don't have to risk a prison sentence.
Because, no matter how radical and sub-cultural their fashions may be, they are, at heart, middle class suburban white kids going through their 'mildly rebellious' phase.
And crime terrifies them because they are pussies!

Sell the stuff illegally and make some fucking money!!!

Befriending the minimum wage guy IN the dispensary.
Get him to send a few big spending regulars your way
and give him a finders fee.....

I'm a red card holder. I stopped in RiverRock yesterday because I wanted to try their transdermal CBD patches. I also bought an 1/8 of their Sour Tsunami at about what I recall paying for it before - was 35 and that's what I recall their top shelf being awhile back, but since it's all got so fucking cheap, I really don't pay attention to the price much anymore.

Denver dragged its feet so less than 20 dispensaries are currently able to sell to the public thereby creating ridiculous legal demand messing with and raising the price of illegal weed. If you had a prescription card you still pay prescription prices ie less taxes and most likely if you had a prescription your dispensary was not affected and will keep their prices low to keep you. Go to Denver Craigslist search MMJ and you will get a better handle on prices.

No red card for me but I won’t wait in line, just on Mother Nature.

yeah this would be nice..however standing in line outside with others would be more opportunity.. personally i would work it in teams if you get my drift..

you don't need a ton of buyers either..they'll start referring friends to you..each new customer i will estimate 3 referrals.

According to this article dispensaries are charging close to $400 an oz plus tax now, anyone seen this firsthand?

There is a difference between dispensaries and recreational stores.
They are separate. I have not seen the prices go up in dispensaries at all, judging by the ads in the Westword.

I heard that one rec store had 40% out of state clients.
It is the out of state people that are driving up the prices.

it will adjust and true to capitalism, when it comes down to it..our beloved hippie friends gouge their customers like everyone else..it's actually pretty lame they're doing it as i thought we were better than that..

It is not lame to make a living. Running a weed store is really expensive. If you do not like the prices grow your own.
Why are they hippies?

I'm not sure what is more outrageous - the high prices - or the fact that you're told how much (little) you are allowed to buy or possess. I just moved from Oregon - so I can have a 1/4 oz - 2 days worth - whoopee! I can have 24 oz with my ommp card.
Go back to Oregon if you do not like our laws.
You can possess as much as you want at your home if you grew it or are able to convince police you grew it.
If you are a Colorado resident you can purchase and possess an ounce. If you are not a Colorado resident, you can go to as many stores in a day as you choose and buy a 1/4 ounce at each one. If you have a red card you can purchase and possess up to two ounces. Dispensary prices are much lower than rec stores.

TGSs prices have gone up for med btw, others I've talked to expect it as well.

I'll not be going to TGS anymore btw. They never had the really preo bud but was nice for joints. Selection of edibles and accesories is nice, and sometimes good concentrate.

BUT I was there the other day and ALL the good stuff was only for rec sales. All the bullshit strains were on the med side, and the only good ones were on rec. Only had kief and shitty bubble for med, but had tons of shatter and "nectar" for rec. I was so pissed I just walked out.

seems to me that the state should invest some of the tax income from the rec. sales and provide jobs to people to produce product for the med. side. this way the medical patients can get the same quality at a reduced price along with tax free meds.

i have to go to work everyday anyway. so i would love to go to work for the state and produce for the med side, getting paid just like a real job, then go home and grow and sell to the rec. side for a little extra income. i am sure the extra income will be taxed and the profit will be small, so it will not be a get rich quick scheme, but i would love what i do.
