I only got a little over 2ft. of Vertical Space for her to stretch out, so every inch counts.

Right now she's just under 3in. Had I not strapped her Main Stem & Colas down she'd be at 9in.

It's called "mainlining" or horizontal growing. Typically longer veg, more light penetration. Works great!

You planning on supercropping?

Honestly, with 2ft I'd think you'd need to. When I mainline for 8 colas, my canopy is usually around 32"-36" after flowering. That's even with supercropping.

I'll definitely sub in to see you do a 2ft grow. Much smaller than I've ever done. Props.

Are you referring to natural growth vs supercropping?

I think supercropping produces better results than normal, but I just meant for the height. I suppose you can lst sorta, I just prefer to supercrop when I mainline.

My space isn't as restricted but it still gives a nice even canopy. Other than a super small scrog, supercropping, or some intensive lst (much like what you did earlier), I dunno how you would control flowering stretch.

I like the idea though. Puts the growers training skills to the test. I'm excited for this and I think you've inspired me to try it.

Fuck yea. Anybody can grow in a 4x4x8 tent or room. Capping that to a 2ft vertical space... That takes balls and the skill to back them up.

I think it's awesome. Do you have good ventilation in there. That's probably the biggest challenge to take on other than the training.

I dunno if I'm going to get as crazy as you the first time trying it though haha. I'm going to opt for my T5 I think.

By the way, mini-scroggin... Bad ass.

Yeah I know it took a lot of guts to go the route I did but fuck it. A lot of people told me not to cuz of heat but the cooltube brings the temps down 77 with my 400w Mh @ 50%. I'm sure I'll figure out how to keep the temps low once I switch over to flower.
We'll see how it all goes and yeah the little mini scrog looks and was fun to build but once this batch is done I plan on selling the box and upgrading to a bigger box or maybe even build a room outback where I can get 32 cola monster going!!
Bigger is better for me but I got to start somewhere.
2ft is home for now.

Well nobody can knock you for it. Let them try balancing humidity, heat, and training in a 2ft space. I'm all for it. Don't get me wrong, I love big yields, but you can learn a hell of a lot more growing in a smaller confined space in my opinion.

I mean as long as you can manage those temps and humidity, I'd say you're golden. How's she taking the mainlining? I just did a quick search on ice cream. Indica dominant hybrid it says. Is she responding quickly?

As of now she takes about a week to fully bounce back from a top. I topped her once 3 weeks ago and told myself fuck it I'm good with two big colas and four followers but then I just said fuck it umma go for 8, so I topped the two mains, stripped the lower growth and as of now it looks like I'll be topping her again for the final 8 colas on Wednesday.
After that I'll let her stretch a little and figure out a good way to disperse the colas evenly.

Yeah temps are good. Humidity is spot on for flower but gotta get a wet towel in here cuz it drops to below 40 for veg but rain should be coming hard for the next week so should help her out a lot.

That's not bad recovery at all. It should lessen a day or two with the next top. Each top gets easier to bounce back from, or so it seems.

Sounds like you have a solid plan and setup. 4 colas would probably be easier to manage but 8 would be better haha.

I'd rather have that overwhelming, "fuck that's a lot of fucken bud to work with feeling" then that humble "Cool. I have four colas vibe."

I'll be waiting for the updates haha. I'm still waiting for my seeds to get here. I'm thinking the bubbas gift would be great for a small space. Almost no stretch in flowering.

Recovery could be quicker but one side is runting it up and lagging behind the other. A full week lets the other side catch up for an even top!
