Ok so first off i just bought 4 400w HPS ballast for 30$ a pop, They were security lights but the dude gave me a free bulb and i converted one to a grow light. Separated the ballast and reflector and set it to 120v to grow in my closet for the time being(pretty good deal right?). I got the light working just fine but i have some issues, the main one is heat, its summer here and my house stays around 75. There is a opening in the attick but the attick stays around 85. i put a window ac right up top with a board and this worked, but i blew a fuse, i changed the fuse to 30 amps instead of 20 but im scared the house wiring wont be able to take it. Not sure how to do circuts or any of that but im looking for advice, the 400 will run with fans but i cant get the heat down without the ac, any suggestions or advice/ideas are welcome and begged for(lol), After a little bit i want to get 2 of the 400 in the closet for flower aswell, any good replys get a +rep

If you are having heat problems and are worrying about the wires of your house not being able to handle the load why would you add a second 400 watter? Am I missing something?

Don't add the second 400 watter? Get some strong inline fans to exhaust the heat into the attic. If you air cool your hood it will make temp control much easier. If you can't air cool than you can just get a high CFM inline fan to just exhaust the heat from the grow room into the attic. Also maybe get some intake fans to bring cool air into the room

The Reflector Is Like A Bowl, I Have A 109cfm Computer Fan But That Seems To Suck(In A Bad Way). I'm Looking Into Inline Fans Right Now, Thanx For The Quick Response 420, Any One Else? I Will Consider Anything As I Need To Get This Going.

P.S. Landlords Family And So Is Roommate So There Is No Problems There.

You are lucky my friend haha. I would suggest looking into either Vortex brand fans or Solar and Palau brand inlines. Make sure to get one rated at a high CFM like 400+

Thank you Tom420, I Wish I Could Rep You Again, You Have Helped Alot, That Sounds Great, Think It Will be Cheaper At A Local Hydro Store?

Idk it will probably end up being more expensive than what you could get online but you don't have to pay any shipping charges. Check out your local hydro store and check out what they have there. I have seen some hydro shops with ridiculous prices so I am hoping that you local one can hook you up with a good deal on fan. I got an Active Air 6 inch inline fan from my local hydro store and it was $120 or something close to that. Maybe you could just give the hydro store a call or check out there website for prices so you don't need to waste a trip there
