So this will be my second posted grow on here. Here's what I'm workin with:

SPACE
4x4x6.5 Grow Tent
Lighting
400w HPS light with a magnetic ballast (Hoping to upgrade to a 600w with a digital ballast in this grow)
Nutes
Advanced Nutrients Grow, Micro, and Bloom. Hoping to get Voodoo Juice and B-52 shortly
Strains
Nirvana's AK-48
Pyramid's Auto Purple
CH9's Humboldt
Bagseed named "It's Permanent"
Set-up
4 independently run, 5 gal DWC buckets run off of 2 dual output air pumps
Ak-48, Humboldt, and Auto Purple popped 2 days ago, 1/18/13, and were planted last night, 1/19/13. "It's Permanent" has been vegging for 67 days now. had a rough start, but pulled trough. Topped twice and LST'd.

Any serious advice or critiques or praise is welcome. :)

Well the ladies (hopefully) are lookin pretty good. The AK-48 is the furthest behind. It's the only one that hasn't broken the surface of the RW. The Auto Purple is leading by far. I guess that's the difference between fresh seeds and shipped seeds. Any way, here's the pictures. :D

your one plant looks good , one thing though, save your money the 400 watt is more then good enough for your grow space if want more light get floecents put around tent about 18 to 24 inches up to get more light on lower branches

might want to lower the water level on the humboldt, prolly drowning it. you want your air stones make the surface water spray the bottom of your netpot to encourage roots to seek water.

other than that, good work.

Looks great! A 600 will be just right. Rule of thumb, 50watts per square foot. I haven't read one guide, text book, or manual that doesn't have that tip emphasized. You may want to add some more pebbles to the auto's net pot. Light getting through into the bucket will encourage algae.

Read through your first grow, and now I'm checking this one out! Looking forward to seeing your progression!

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I was just making sure this grow went well before I started seriously posting about it. Everything is going great so far. I moved my bagseed out of the tent 5 days ago and into a flowering box (the grow box I started with in my first grow) with 10 23w CFLs of mixed spectrum on a 12/12 schedule. Also filled the Humboldt and AK-48 net pots with Hydroton because they have fully rooted. My poor Auto Purple isn't doing so hot. For whatever reason, that specific bucket is really tough to maintain it's water levels and it has dried out and fallen over once. I nursed it back to growing upward again, but the leaves are still drooping. I hope it makes it. :( But anyway, on to the pictures:

AK-48. Definitely a Sativa dominant strain

Humboldt. Definitely an Indica dominant strain

Some QWISO hash in progress made from some trimmings off of my last harvest. You can see where i scratched off a little sample. And let me tell you, that sample blew my mind. Looking forward to the finished product. :blsmoke:

Everything is going pretty well, just a couple issues I've been having. The bottom of my bagseed plant is turning like...black. And some of the higher leaves are turning black now too. And on my AK-48 plant, the tips of some of the new leaves are turning yellow. Im going to rinse out it's res and give it a fresh one tomorrow and hope that it fixes the problem. Also, i topped both plants and the AK-48 was very successful but the Humboldt came out...weird...the pictures will explain. Other than that, the bagseed, "It's Permanent" is getting clusters of white hairs already. Oh! Almost forgot to mention something quite important. My little Auto Purple didn't survive. But we replaced her with one of Barney's Farm's Vanilla Kush. :D Pretty excited about it to see what the smoke is like. Now, on to the pictures.

I am just wrapping at mixed grow of ak48 and blue mendo along with a tangerine dream and blue viper. I got the mendo and ak as clones which were in soil so I potted those and pulled clones off them to run side by side in my hydro set up. I flipped on dec 17 after they got to about 2 ft w lst, ub topping, super cropping and a lithle fim to get them all the same height and saw the hairs around New Years. I just chipped the mendo and aks today. Well the top 3 ft. I use a mag 357 led. The ak loves hydro vs soil an turned into a freaking giant with a couple colas about a foot long and easily 4-5 inches thick. Serios donkey dicks. The top was still pushing new white hairs and buds but the trichs were fully cloudy on most of the plant and about 10% amber so it was time. The 48 day thing is a myth if u want quality and quantity. These baby's were under 12/12 for 11 weeks but well worth it. It was also able to take any nites I threw at it ( Gh 3 part) w bud candy and big bud in Rez w di water. The soil momma in 2 gal pot was about 1/4 the size of the hydro baby. I have clones waiting to go in again as soon as the dream is ready- sativa Dom and she is slow but fat n stinky. I will post pics later n give a yield on hydro vs soil once dried in a bout a week. Test buds dried and jarred to be samples next week as well. Frosty and stinky. Def a fun one to grow.
