are you using gh 3-part ? & if so do you have the feeding schedule they give away at most hydro shops & are you using cal- mag ? My tap water is so low in ppm(about 35+-) I have to use it or I get that light color I would keep an eye out for distorted leaves either fatter than normal or the serrated jagged edges looking rounded off those roots look nice I don't get much ph. change so I try to feed around 5.9 -6.0 it looks like that r/w block is gonna work just fine
Ya I'm using all 3 parts of the flora line. I think this might be the chart on the bottle. Changed out res today to 1/2 tsp of each per gal. (about 2.5g)

Haven't added any cal-mag yet. Wasn't sure if there was any in the GH line or not. I've already got a bottle of Earth juice calmag i will add in to next weeks change.

I've been lowering the PH to 5.5 after adding nutes. Il learn more after I get my ppm meter in the mail. Happy with everything so far pretty fascinating!

Trying to clone using rockwool cubes for the first time in a long time. Soaked cubes in water @ 5.5 before inserting cuttings.

Looks like a few aren't going to make it already. I usually have almost 100% success rate using root riot plugs.

We will see!

I take a toothpick & poke a hole in the cube for my stem a snug fit is a must the holes that come in the cubes is too big for a good fit I leave the wrapper on the cube too

Great suggestion herk. Il do that next time. The clones did turn around. Havent lost any yet. Crazy how a cutting with no roots can droop on the ground then perk back up.

Hope you are enjoying this weather. I got some snow last night :)

I know you use hid with your led my strain is supposed to have 5 weeks left but I don't think she is gonna make it she is finishing fast no snow here yet give me a second opinion on the ripening hereView attachment 3840394View attachment 3840395 View attachment 3840396
Looks great there herk,
I'd say it looks like it could easily go 5 more weeks. They should double in size still. Do u look at the trich's under a magnifier?

I've had strains that had The hairs brown quickly but I kept them going and sure glad i did! Some amazing results can happen in the last few weeks. When I typically think its done I go two more weeks before chop lol.

I love how glossy and dark u have your leaves. Great work

I fed 2 days ago I think I'm gonna stick with dwc/water farm I stubbed my toe a few times in the other grow but I think I'm finally getting it over feeding has been my worst enemy my choice of strains probably didn't help either I have 2 babies of the headband & after some thought think it best to go right back with the headband I believe better results can be had I've got to build a larger screen & fill it I'm not utilizing my light to its potential image.jpeg

The ppm is the true schedule no matter what it says on the mixing chart use 6 gals. I mix 5 gal. check the ppm.which is usually high I then add water until the ppm. comes down to desired level for example if I want 1000.ppm & I have a 6 gal bucket I mix 5 gal.off the schedule into the 6 gal. of water in the bucket then if the ppm. Is too high I remove 1qt. & replace it with water & stir up well & take a reading , repeat until you get where you want to be now the main thing is to match the ppm.to your plants stage of growth development & looking at your plant I think you are right on the money I've got a little gizmo I made for taking samples of nutrients from your bucket it's one of those nutrient mixing syringes with a piece of drip line hose on the end of it I'll get a pic over here later

here is a pic of that syringe & hose it's pretty handy for grabbing samples I run the hose right down my drain tube to grab a sample have you started adding cal-mag yet? It helps your plant absorb nutes & gets a darker green on the leaves as well & I don't know if it's on your directions but when using the gh 3-part nutrients you're always supposed to add the micro first then the rest in any order you choose they say there is a risk of lock- out if micro isn't first it looks like you're off to a good startimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg

Awesome info herk! Much appreciated, itl take some time to get comfortable with the ppm meter.

I used cal mag once for this plant. I only have the earth juice organic line of cal mag at the moment. Was gonna pick up some GH brand cal mad to work with the same line.

Also recently noticing the longer roots that are in the water ate getting a brownish color to them, not sure if its early root rot or normal (the nutrient water is brown after mixing)

I added some Big time enzyme . And big time roots which is for that application. Il post those root pics when I'm home.

Didn't know about that order for the flora trio. Interesting. Great to know

I'm loving it though, the fact I grew a plant without soil is pretty badass!
