400w hps & 250w MH Vs. 1000w Hps

Sup Folks> Got some questions For all u long timers doing Hydro Flow system. I am Using a 400w Hps not air cooled (Dum Choice so I find out later Air cooled is the way to go) and a 250W Mh air cooled. I am using a custom grow tent that comes out to 6ftX3 n1/2ft in the tent I am running 2 vents 70 cfm and a 50 cfm venting to the outside. In the tent I have 2 fans 1 blowing the leaves and another circulating air from outside the tent. my temps r about 78 to 84 degrees with lights on. I am growing the following FYI theres 14 plants total and a couple clones commin soon

Purple Kush
Hindu Kush
OG Kush:hump:
Cheese ( not blue)
Cotton Candy
Melon
Strawberry
Green Crack

Clones r
AK - 47

Well my question is witch setup shuld I go with 1000w hps 6" air cooled hood or do I keep my 400w and 250 w mh.

Also I am not expieranced with growing I have the knowledge but this is my first go at it. So please any extra knowledge is appreciated.

I agot these clones from the club and with in a few hours all the leaves drooped and got sickly lookin. The only thing I have used is a lil nut and super thrive hormone to help bring these back around. Can ne1 help with a diagnosis or an idea of what I could do to fix this or do they need to be givin back to mother nature.

Also What is the average cost per month on the 1000w lighting and an educated guess on the diffrence in yield?:joint: :weed:

I forgot to mention I have a C02 setup But I have heard mixed reviews on the benifiet of runnin C02, any suggestions. The way I see it is C02 has a benifiet if you are dealing with climate issues, can someone please clarify. I prolly forgot somethin else. LOL

Well from an electricity and engineering standpoint, anything other than the single 1000w air cooled setup is completely in efficient and wasteful. More ballasts/bulbs/reflectors more possible issues. Can you cool off 2 ballasts as good as you can one?

Tons of other questions you need to ask yourself first before you come on a forum asking other people.

But like i said, just from a basic engineering standpoint, the setup which contains a single bulb and ballast will be the most efficient design you could go with.
