400W HPS?? cheap as hell!

so im searching the net for 400 W HPS bulbs... and i stumbled across this... just wondering if these will work.. im in disbelief just beacause of the price...

6 400 W HPS BULBS FOR 70 BUX????

can anyone tell me if these will work in a closet growroom no bigger then 4ft X 4ft x 6 ft.. i appreciate all your help!

It's a very good deal, but I could beat it. I have a bunch of new 400 bulbs I'll ship 6 for $60. They're the same as those but with the larger outer glass , actually identical in size to halide glass. It's just a different shape but the same performance.

I grabbed every one I saw on clearance planning to get some ballasts, but then ended up finding a deal on 1k ballasts so I just don't need all of them, I'll just keep a couple.

those are just shitty clear spectrum bulbs.

you can use these bulbs for the whole grow as i do.
(cfls and mh lamps are no longer of use).

I wouldn't buy from that user on eBay, look at his feedback.

these bulbs are just clear(used for factory lighting).
they are not growlamps.

You folks don't seem to understand that an HPS of any type grows like a mofo. The spectrum of off the shelf wharehouse HPS's is still perfect for flowering. Sure you could get a dialed in bulb that's a more perfect match but the difference is under 10% yield in my experience. Halides are another story, their spectrum can be anywhere on a huge scale but HPS bulbs are all very close to the same spectrum and CRI.

Small differences, not at all unusable as some seem to think.
