Act quickly with the bugs. At first, it just starts out as a couple. You think, no harm, next day there's a thousand.

These sound like gnats (at least that's what I call them), they lay their eggs in soil and the babies feed off the plants roots till they are strong enough to fly out.

Get another fan in there, they don't like windy conditions. Place the yellow sticky things everywhere, stick one at the base of each plants stem too, because when you increase the air flow they're going to seek shelter in your soil.

Kill them. Kill them all.

Good stuff johnny, keep those flys at bay. You gotta invest in a screen door or something, damn flys belong outside, not shitting all over your ladies. Lookin good.

Hey Jonny, Nice looking plants.
have you thought about covering your walls with Panda Film or maybe Mylar? You will get more light effect this way. Your plants might not stretch so bad.

no, i've never heard of the stuff. i had aluminum foil up there but was told it creates heat spots so i got rid of it. i'll look into it for my next grow. cheers

sorry man, i can't answer that... i don't have a thermometer. if i got a thermometer then i'd have to get a heater or a cooler and i don't have enough $$$ so ignorance is bliss


i'd say around 21 Degrees C with the fan on if i had to guess

Those are some nice looking plants you got there Johnny.

i've researched on when to harvest and it seems the only way to tell is with a 30x magnifying glass. sadly, i can't seem to find any more than a 10x one anywhere!

is the naked eye of no use?

hey johnny, do you got $10 to spend. I just bought the 100x mini microscope from radioshack that everyone recommends. It allows you to see the trichomes upclose so you know when its time.

As far as judging by the naked eye, quality of bud is important to me. Deciding to harvest at the perfect time is key.

lol wow you can harvest a plant without a microscope and magnifying glass its optional and IMO if you cant harvest your buds at the optimal time without a magnifying glass then you must not really be very experienced at growing.

i can't seem to find one that strong. but i'll keep looking... and it's when the trichomes turn slightly amber isn't it?
